my experience with tihis was the same go to options axis assing and delete ALL commands in ALL colums then re set them... set AG mode NAV mode on your hotas if you have 2 stage trigger then have stage 1 to override AP and stage 2 to select gun. the gun will fire with the release weapon anyways and this way it on the stick. the overide will come very handy since you can do a lot with AP. for exaple... lased bomb release.... u lock it up engage "route folow mode" hold down override... get close and reengage the AP by releaseing override and voala.... perfect relese.... send a private msg if u need more tips

Yesssss..... looks like ED is living up to its word :) in a few days (i hope ...maybe weeks) we will have a capabilty to give those F15 VPs a run for gor their money who say.... the F15 IS the king of BVR..... the missiles will be sorted as well...and i will get over it hehehe ;)

There are jo exuses... on the matter of the 90s iraq war.... as far my knowlage goes.. there was only one time where the iraqy pilots had the guts to engage NATO planes.. the rest of them got cold feet and ran to iran.... the ones that did get shot down... well they were runing to iran... on the 8year iraq-iran war... well uncle sam was supplying the iranians with military hardware... and intel and "other" resurces to iraq... ist the great game also known as divide and qonquer training... yes the us airforce and the rest do have higher flight hours becouse the military spending is as mouch ad the rest of the world army togheter... and look where it lead... to the verge of economic collapse.. meanwhile russia became the energy superpower... gas oil exports are briging in so much wonga that they have a large amount to spend on NEW hardwarre.. the us is in permament war footing since the 2nd world war... and the equipment AND manpower are worn out since 9/11... but hey... it wont change the fact all this heated argument that the players who like to fly russian jets like to have an equal chance... no real life manual chart and so on will change the fact that this is a GAME so.. all of you who are upset that this issue has been raised.... relax and enjoy yourself... its a game and it would be nice if it becomes fair. we see in a few weeks i hope... untill then russian jet pilots will get a lot of practice and the eagle pilots will keep doing what they can do best... 8amraams and just click and kill. and i agree with mandrake... keep the amraams as they are... but give the russian missiles a bit more bite and all will be happy....

The king of BVR? Emm... we will se that soon in real life... Thargos... im familiar how to evade the aim120... the 6second rule etc etc... high combat turn... as i said... most of the people i fly with are disillusioned with the fact that the aim120 is soooo overdone... and since they like to fly russian jets will say.... i go back to co-op or play 80s style..... and one of them IS a real life mirage f1 pilot.... you can argue that im just throwing it out there to sound emm read better... im not... its a fact. so keep puting out a request becouse the general chater on numerous TS chanels are like this russian missiles are broken.... they dont track.... f this im out.... and so on...

Alex u are missing the point... aim120 is overkill... no ARH on su27/33 do u agree that with most people in F15s they have no clue what to do in a close engagement never mind dogfight this is the result of click and kill mentalaty...

AIM-120 vs R-77 Hi all As the title suggests i like to raise the dillema of the present overkill of the aim120. i had a go with the f15 today un mp and found that i had a 90% kill rate. thsts 20 missiles fired and 17 hits... with the R77 ....less then 40% plese ED give the russian planes an ARH that is the SAME as the aim120. realism....yes yes... but what about playable. on higly competativ servers like the 104th or 51st and War...we are sick and tired of getting blown out of the sky by players who can only click and kill so BETTER R77 and SU27/33 that can carry it.... PLEASE......PLEASE.....PLEASE and before anyone says its down to the pilot skill... give me a friken break. Ask ANY player who is a REAL LIFE PILOT.... they will tell the same thing...

Great new pit for the flanker but still no R77 on it... those F15 noobs who jsut point klick and kill with ammrams will still think ther are the king of the skies... we want the R77 on the flankers..... thanks

For the red side i like to see the R77 on the mig to balance the aim7m they are bith SARH missiles.... also the rbk500U for clusters... better then the kgmu disspersals.. the Kh25ML can be lunched from 17.5 km and therefore limit them.. i like to see realistic as possible dont get me wrong... but for that we need the SU25TM or SM model done to the level of the A10.. anyways.... i was wondering abot the warehouse system and also to deny aircraft on both side to take off by bombing the runway :) limiting the weaponry is only applicable if the warehouse is not sending stuff becouse its dead.... it would make an exelent and bold move to destroy the supplys....

okay.. lets presume that u are flying a10s and f15... u get ammrams.. and smart cbus.... we throw an awacs in the mix.. both side... then suddenly its unfair becouse red side gets to see you all and the fighters just switch over to IRST and all you get is a IR missile warning.... and your hog is roasted... fair? would you say get over it? :)

I like to see limit on guided weaponry... and smar clusters.... keep in mind that rockets are not by the pod... i have a moded HC terrorist map where the red side is on Adler and the Ts have gudauta and sochi as airport with 2 flights of Ka,SU25T and Mig29s strong airdefence...but limited weaponry... if u want u can have a look not finished yet but i like to have more expert triggers added

I think the icons are only elarged... in the editor when ever u place a unit thats how they look like... unless u go to options in the main menu and change to russian symbology... i think the enlarged option is in the server option or in the custom options in the ME. i hope this has not ****ed tomorows game.... btw breifing is tommorow yes?

wooooow i kinda kicked off a shitstorm... :) maybe best to have no awacs and wishper all the time to the GCs the thing about russian fighter haveing a datalink as a advantage... yes thats is true... but the a10s have the same on their aircraft with NO awacs... plus they get laser ir pointer and the basic frogg... well eyeballs. so who knows... about the who sees what... please try the server called War USSR vs NATO its map only setting and aircraft wont see ground nor air units on the map... on the other hand if u choose to be a GC you WILL see friendly AND enemy aircraft.. i had several kills this way... own team GC was telling me bearing and range... the other team didnt know what hit them untill the kill msg. i havent looked in the ME how it works but you guys are more techi then me
