This is a FLAMING WAR. :) I voted for study level becouse i got to know how to fly the shark after a looooong time in game mode. I fly fc3 now since its action is fast... but.. regardless what you all think there is a 3rd avanue that has just not been touched on. Here is it... wait.... wait.... SCENARIO!!! Yes one tiny thing. We ALL can argue what level of fidelity your AC needs to be if the enviroment is emm... shalow. The C stands for COMBAT... and im thinking of the mission edditors potencial... i personaly suck at triggers but no matter what fidelity the AC is the SP and MP enviroment is sterile!! Just think about it.. after 10-15 trys you know whats where etc... What i like to have from ED are comlex missions with ACTUAL MILITARY ADVISORS to help draw up a mission I said this before modern SAM systems DONT group in a 400m radius just to name one thing.. So while you all bitterly fight over clickable cockpits i peraonaly lime to have a battelfield that is alive!!! Better awacs cntrol... radio chater that gives you the sence of being part of tbe operation... airtrafic... Hell i would PAY ED to make it happen and get is as a module add on or just better the game onit own. And a friken dedicated server to host 50 combatant

I was wondering why are no short range radar sams avaible for GC? Now that radar emmision on/off works it would be interesting. Also with all this hardware on th BF is a must. I suggest Roland/Gepard for blue SA 19 for red 3 units would do... exchange for 2 IR sams?

i think we are getting teased here.. DCS: F-15C <--- this is what we expected since all swich and connector is there and the C makes it clear what it it DCS: SU-27 <--- it can be a few models since no designation is present. I guess we will speculate hope cry laugh and bitch alot untill next friday :) if we are VERY lucky its SM If we have luck and they have some good conections its SM2 :)

its under scan/TWS u need to sycle to TWS2 in the selector.. as i was testing it today it lock up friednlies as well so its hard to eploy with friedlie aircraft around. on a another note looks like the mig29S is a very tough bird to kill with 1.2.4 and hard to track as well

Not to shaby... the landing is still the old one.. i guess it has no AFM.. Will it be able to carry the R77 ?:) Release it when its READY! I mean stable network play and no crash to desktop... 1.2.3 gave us that.. 1.2.4 will give us more :) and we will buy more modules ... khm... 27SM?

So a another week another update... my missus works like that as well! Only thing is i dont have to squash her bugs... im afraid that if i do i might get a system faliure on her side and then i F-ed So all the wait for 1.2.? is worth it.. we keep flying they keep working.. I hope along the way comes a investor and says: i have tons a money and want to have a good pruduct... and i get my SU27SM :)

Yes its in the mission option menu under customisation... its the external view that needs to be undone... you can also set fog of war etc... I recomend that u get the trk from the -WAR- battle of sukhumi mission and have a look on that map setting.. the ground commander can see the enemy aircraft so he can cal for suport while pilots have cockpit only.... this makes a very good setup i my view flying on that server i regulary get GC calling for strikes and for air cover..

Yes it was entertaining :) Took the role of harrasing enemy CAS ;) Dont remember killing many ground unit but i can clearly remember A10s loosing wings..engines....hehe Next time just give me a 29s or a 27 and ill be a happy camper :)

Hey Greg.... Fun? What do u mean by FUN? SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH!!! This is mortaly serious! :pilotfly: I like the Operation Haunted Georgia and the "standard" missions of the 104 war etc server... What i like to combine is the suspence of all... where random elements are inserted like having CA commanders running the show.... In the present form of the game the CA commander is the supreme comander of the battlefield. If its 2 of them per side that opens up a whole diffrent ballgame.. Yes the 10h marathon would be a strech...therefore the suggestion of 2 maybe 4 shroter PHAZE. But a minimum 5H game time. This would allow for strategies to unfold... The sqadron thing is a MUST! Anyone with the right MP mindset thinks like that and the individual LONE WOLFS (like me) can pick a side and hopefully stick to it! I understand this will take some time organise but Im up for it... I send the missus to a long spa day and she wont mind. :book: This is more of a gauge thing... I can think of a few dedicated VP who is up for this but i would like to know more of them...:) Lets hope the 1.2.4 is rock soild and troop insertion and all the niffnaffs like AWACS gets sorted as much we can hope for.... PS: my throtle is playing up so im restraing myself from flying with half cooked hardware... its in the repairshop (sort of RAF guys looking at it who do real things on real planes) and if they say noooo then i have an order on but it wont be with me before the 9th of may... which is when my Dad is over....

Ok AWACS needs looking after. I agree. Also EWR sites.. We could have a trigger that provides 2 replacement awacs... after that is fubar... Mixed aircraft pool? Coalition ideas? Iknow a lot of players who refuse to fly some AC.. like me... dont like the F15 but with the implement of 6DOF SU27 that might change...

Hello to all vpilots I would like to put this out there since the 1.2.4 is promising to be a more stable version of the game that might allow for an ALL DAY MAYHAM Basicly the match would start at 1000 ZULU and finish at 2200 ZULU We could use some existing maps in sucsession or have 2 new that who ever likes to do does it. It would be great if desning the maps whoud include some realistic placement o f units Ie if its a mobile sam system liike the kub or buk they are not all togehter since that defeats the purpuse. I just got up and this ide poped in my head... maybe becouse i havent been flying for over a week now But tell me what you guys think. Would you do a 10h marathon? What could pose a problem in your view?
