I dont see anything done to MULTIPLAYER side. Ill bet we will get runtime errors and/or just simple crashes of the game. ED pls before you fix anything else get the mutiplayer fixed so we can fly and fight together.... Its VERY fustrateing to have these dissconnects and crashes.

Yeah there is... 99.9% sure that the server will crash 5-6h tops if u have ground and/or air AI units in the mission. If we get a stable game where a mission that can be played over 8h then i suggest use summer as season and start at 5am... Othervise the answer is no. If will go on and all you can do is to have a map rotate trigger at some point.

DCS at present stands for Dis Connect Simulator I would be the first to get on with a 3+h match....but untill we get a stable net code....well... i keep loading up and crashing..

So all got sorted apart why the HMD is there for?! You use the HMD in conjunction with the uncage/designate Keep holding down designate when HMD is on and the Shkval will look there. This is cupled with automatic gun turn and you can fight helicopters close up. Also soft skins in convoys

Sure... always use center line fueltank... Tanks on pylon 3and5 will make a huge diffrent....

Which model A G C ? Internal fuel is 3.6tone on the C model. Fuel consumption depends on altitude and rpm. I can asure all of you who think that the mig has no range that you are... wrong. It takes some time getting used to this aicraft. I fly the A and C models. On takeoff 90-95% throtle is used full flaps. Lift off at 320km/h at 7 degrees. Gain speed to 750km/h and start a 15degrees climb to 9000m You can fly like this for over 1.5h with a full air combat load. Doing air combat is a whole diffrent ballgame....but keep in mind that this is a FRONT LINE INTERCEPTOR. Based 50-100km from the shit hitting the fan.. This is shown by a smal cross section VERY powerull engines and small armament. A QUICK in and out... Unlike the flanker that is desinged to escort long range bombers have a massive amount of weapons and fuell to do the job. Thefore its bigger and somewhat slower then the mig The fuel tape works with the A model showing the external voulume.

Then you will understand that the amraam is not a magic stick being good tough... If u fly ru planes aginst f15 u know that if the rwr lights up and its on +3 u have been detected.... at full minus 4 u know that in 15-20sec the first amraam is pitbull... so you notch.... start yo-yo's It works 7out of10 But here comes the shocker..... NEVER FLY ALONE on a PVP server. I i fly on the 51st regulary.... mig29c and i dont fly alone.... period. If i do... i dont get to land the ac most of the time. So.... yes earn the experience... might be not right...but experience... get a wingman... do tactics...read about it... And keep hopeing that the network code gets sorted... and the vertical EOS elavation fixed..so we can get more siluets on the planes hehehe Ohhh and have fun dont take it too serious... it a game...

Hi all I have this problem with my HOTAS where i get shot down and the FFB starts ratteling the stick it will stay ratteling even after respawning. The only way to solve it at the min is to exit the game... yes to desktop. I have tried to disconect the usb and reconnect only to get a blue screen. I have the latest driver from logitech. Anyi ideas before i get in touch with logitech?

Ohhh yeah.. So will u tweak the radar az well? I figure that an optical sensor will do the ag abiliy but how about radar for aa. The smt has an upgraded radar if im not mistaken.

Yes and no... The range on the mfd 128 has nothing to do with radar operation. Whats been overlooked is the radar scan range.. yep. Thats the number in the bottom midle in the hud. If you think that the target is closing in set freq to HI and incrace the scan range. I usualy have it 25-50 for recon Read lock on manual radar olerations

Yeah just statick objects. To build a defence do so.e research on it. Usualy its a battery of patriot then shorad's finaly artillery. On blue side. Russian doctine is very diffrent. While NATO has say 4 layers Ex warsaw pact has probably 8-9 layers...

AWACS is buged as far i know... Im on holdays but in 1.2.5 they were calling bogey dope but only other playes heard it.... Picture was useless.... Datalink had a lot of ghost contacts...

I might have used the wrong term.... What i noticed when playing on servers that have limited weapons is tha fact that playes come in and its first came first served... gets loaded up with high spec stuff flys off... and in most cases gets blasted out of the sky.... not even a single missile left the rail.. So as much as i like to dress up( got some costumes yes...best one is the Adam costume... and i like my gf Eve costume) i like to have a work around of this. If we all agree that dcs is a realistic sim... as much we can have it... so i like to see the suply of ordance as well... So i wont be going aroun throwing dust around and shoutin fire ball.... level 7... :) ok?

Noticed as well I get this when the emmiter goes offline... have a look for that... Otherwise the proximity fuse works :)

While i was scaning trough a thread of how much this and that cost i got myself wondering if we could have a system where each pilot can only have equipement according to a point/rank system. Now i understand this is very remote from the usual just hang'em shoot'em mentality but it would deffo pose a huge chalenge to destroy targets. This could be used to also on repairs... etc... There are inherent problems naturaly like to any system... but it would sure be fun.... and sudenly we would use dumb unguided ordance a lot more often... Also pilots would think 2x before commiting to ANY hostile action...

So I will be the party pooper... Love this new wake and the smoke... really nice exterior.. but WHERE ARE THE MIG29 NEWS?? Am i obsessed... yes... are you on your level? Yes... MIG 29 left to rot Hello all Im not sure why this aircraft is the last of the last that gets an upgrade....all the strike crafts have AFM and 6DOF pits. I dont get it.... Not even a beep about them... Please ED try to have some info released since its getting more popular to fly this plane with the communuty.

By the sound of it you were on tbe 51st black sea redemption map... i hope i will see you in my mig29 scope... missing a wing or burning engines.... Apart from that... I started building a pit as well.. not a dedicated pit but one that can be used for all.. I have found a bargin GT Omega Pro chair... older model but i got in touch with manufacurer and got a 2nd gear shift stand... cut a another aluminum plate and bolted it on... on that i have my g940.. 27" benq led screen and a trackir 5 Will do more mods to it.. like the side mfd.... etc... So a game chair will reduce the build tme a lot... On the not takeing weapons on all out mp session... well i can only say you suck.... Good luck and see you on my scope :joystick:

Had same issue but its only human error.... Its dead simple and probably thats why you fail.. happend to me as well So Get the zip file.. unzip and copy the server.lua file... Go to ....\saved games\dcs\config Create view folder insert server.lua Fly away....

Will this mod only tune 6DOF pits? I like to fly the mig and i need to look behind. Will this help or i need to dig more Thanks
