Petitaion for SU-39 I like to gather some support for this aircraft to be modeled in DCS world. The basic is done for it 25T... the cockpit needs to be redone and some avionics... i would rather see this aircraft then the TM model... please ED consider this since it is basicly a totaly new aircraft and it has huge potencial for the game qorld... rangeing from SEAD/DEAD CAS CAP Anti Shipping long range interdiction etc...

The firs and most inportant rule... dont loose lock... it is possible to keep the enemy fighter +/- 30 at all times.. apart when u doge the missiles... have the radar cone (scan distance) down to 5.. it will flood the space front of u and if the enemy isnt jamming t then TWS mode is great for it...... also if you turn right beam right with the radar.... set the range scale to 10or 25... i had to find this out the hars way... only looking at track i noticed the the contact was there... but at the very bottom and in heat of dog fight i missed it... bore is usefull but the best bet is EOS... the AI and human pilot wont detect you but at that distance they stand out like a sour thumb....give em a ET or T or form up on their 6 and lock them.... watch as they try to out manuver u... then its up to you how u finish them off. real life russian tactic is to fire one IR and one Radar guided weapon... the target has a lower chance eveding and or defeating your missiles

that mission is a breeze compare to Dragons HC Terrorists.... the only thing that u have to be aware is to AVOIDE flying OVER enemy positions... flown the mission serveral times and the trick is to set up a red line which u dont cross. Take the advantage of SEAD capability serious and fly with wingman... this setup might help 2 Kh58 and 4 Kh25ML 50%fuel and throtle to max... no ecm but turn IR Jammer on... 4000m after u kill the SA11 SRs move 15km closer.... fly ne sw and vice verca... your wingman should fly opposing way so u and him has a good look at the EZ pick off any IR sam from a good distance and return... btw this is usefull for any mission... LA over ride will give u duble distance on laser guided missiles... kh25ml 19km kh29l 22km s25l 10km u wont get auto track but u can guide them manualy and at 10-11km auto track kick in... the frog IS a devastating weapon platform.. an par with the a10...in aome regads better... the su39 can carry radar for aa and ag missiles.... its fast and small... wish it would be high fidelity.... :)

I must agree with Helios... This is my experience: went and bought BS1 and a stick http://reviews.logitech.com/7061/302/logitech-attack-3-joystick-reviews/reviews.htm managed to play game mode with this and even game would be a chalange.... so....ebayed a X52Pro abd after 2 weeks i could fly the shark without crashing.... and also managed to map my HOTAS to preform 85% of the needed controls...1 year went by.... Then out of the blue i looked up force feed back systems.... and came across the Logitech G940 so again ebay...and i got lucky and got a £120 offer for a NEW system...(this was after the London riots khmmm) so i got it... The diffrence between the X52 and the G940 is light years... The trim system get a new deffinitaion an dwith the pedal i could do manuvers that i tought i wasnt able to do.... SO if u have a chance to go for the G940 and a trackIr do it... you wont look back and all the sims that are on the way will be a yoy to fly... as soon DisConectSimulator get its fix for the network crashes....well i think my girfriend will leave me :)

I think you have missunderstood me... im as aixk of this "BS" as you are. What im tryimg to shed tje ligjt on is that when the SM will be out and the capabilities of that plane modeled in game those HARDCORE F15 pilots who got so ised loading up 8 amraams flying 15000m salvoing will cry out NOT FAIR..... hell even with fixed DL they be out DEMANDING that they get DL as well... rightfully... but untill thats done and ED manages to implement GCI on JTAC level i have this to say: learn how to fly russian planes or man up adapt and suck on it as players do now flying afinst F15s armed with 8 amraams... war is not equal...nor fair... right now the F15 has the upper hand.... then it wont.. and this will go around and around. Dont take it seriously...the game and yourself... have fun and practice dogeing amraams :)

what DL fix? if an awacs or a ewr is present on the coAlition the contact would come up on the mfd after switching to bvr and turning radar on for a sec and then off. at present this only works in SP and only on the server side on MP

I pdopose this... ED fixes the datalink in the russian birds anx also the R27R so it tracks anx i care not what kind of amraam you have... but then it will be ahh the russian birds have DL and all we have is amraams.... my reply to it will be the same what GGTharos told me blabla is the king of BVR and get used to it... R77 on the Su27 with TWS lunch mode will be called down right cheating.... wont it

At present all allied aircraft that has been targeted by radar does send a msg. it will say that 101. 342 deffending blablabla... you have to keep in mind the awacs callsing and act accordingly.. but yes i would live to see more options and also BRA should be given to spesific aircraft so the oter players dont get confused... and fix the datalink in MP for petesake

Here is something to think about: in the last 50 years no superpower(USA, USSR) managed to win a major war. Period... Korean war - Cese fire Vietnam war - defeat Afghan war(80s) - defeat 1st Gulf war - no win or loose... Balkan war - debatleble 2nd Gulf war - still ongoing... Now we are getting somewhre.... i will get a zip and upload my config for all to see or laugh :) i dont use the Logi profiler since i had a conflict with inputs... so ingame is better and also u see what you doing... on the ffb issue i wish i could set it to 150% :) and have a curveture on it... is there a way to get the throtle mode selector working in game? i have this hotas for a year now and i noticed lately that the top thumb button on the throtle is missbehaveing... has anyone had to replace buttons? if so can u get a part from logitech and DIY it?

Try this go to the config folder.. do a backip... delete the input for x52 and quit the profiler in the taskbar.. sart the game go to option ka50 sim.. it should do a quick setup on its own... go to axis assing delete all colums!! reset all axis... tip: when u set the throtle it will alternate between x and y.. dont be alarmed thats the left and right throtle.. pm me if u need more help... had a config for it but i have the G940 for the last year... hope it works

yeah thats what im useing as well but since the ingame controler wont allow te use the mode selector i can only use 1/3 of the hotas... I like to set up the modes for combat..and nav... in theory i could have allmost all function on the hotas for the BS...and ALL for Fc3 thanks i chek it out

This isi how i got to learn to stay alive in the toad: http://lockon.co.uk/flaming_cliffs_2/training/Su-25T.php#intro1 its ALL there... if u have an smart phone or a pad...have it handy watch it and then replicate... :) a good advise if u have a proper HOTAS (and you will need it) have AP Route Following, Pitch and Roll on your throtle.. and AP over ride on the trigger 1st stage. use 2nd stage to Select Gun. Once you come to terms with targeting you can punch in the AP and get perfect bomb runs... soo free fall bombs video Part II it will take about 2 weeks flying 2-3 hours a day to master it...

Yes the LA override is a key for fast and hard hitting sorties... Observe the folowing... find target... lock.. engage LA over ride...select viks... on the hud when the target reticule starts decline..(the outer ring) fire... from 10-11km out you can do 3 easy 4 with practice.... dont forget to throtle down put airbrakes on and keep speed around 400. on your last lunch max throtle and egress.... Kh29L can be fired from 19km and the Kh25L 17km.... with LA override.... if you have hotas have airbrake togle, laser, LA override, weapon change on it... makes life easy

You can find russian air defence doctrines on the web. I had the same question and started googlei ng tactics. the old systems like SA3 are fixed.. newer ones SA6 SA10(needs aprox 1h to be ready and in game is a fixed one) SA11 are mobile. In the real battle space you will find the the SR and CC modules close enough guarded by SA19s. The TELARs are about 20-30 km out from the CC. Usualy TELARs are guaded by SA9s and zsu23# when is was trying to get this layer upon layer air defence implemented useing the realistic templates i had my hand full....it isnt for the faint harted to take on... Try placeing the sa11 SR and CC 1km apart... look at the range of the SR.. place the TELARs in a way that the range on them overlaps theSR range and maybe 15% out... this way you will get an airdefnce where if the RWR tels you about the track.... you will be shot down in a few sec.... DEADLY!!!!! for incraced kill have the SR on a high point... and keep the lunchers (TELAR) in villages

I hope we will see servers with complex missions with only DCS aircraft... not that FC3 isnt fun but its a bit arcadey....

What makes me think that... what i said.... since i can only speculate... thats what i think... correct me if im wrong but the USAF has nothing in comperison to the kh31 system... that is a game changer.... why? when dcs world got released with the su25t and the ability to do SEAD/DEAD was a gamechanger... just becouse the elint pod and the kh58 and kh25Mpu on a side note... relax a bit enjoy flying around.... yes i do online games... find me on the 51st -War- 104th 373... :)

Sy27SM... almost a dream come true... R77s and Kh31A/P..... pooor poor blue force wont even know what hit them apart from the kill msg... This topic is sooooooo done... we have 2 camps ... those who lunch amraams and run back to base on full afterburner... and those who are sick getting shot down by amraams.... all the this and that.... truth is the Aim120 has not seen combat aginst a well trained, organised and equpied airforce..... which was willing to fight lets hope that we wont find out and this debate can go on and on...and on..... if we are to find out welll....... we will be busy diggin in or trying to survive i hope in 1.2.3 EVERYONE will get what they long for :)
