Yeah, he does "research" all day long.. collecting youtube videos of "proof". Good thing is, he finds all kinds of vids I would never bother searching. For instance, once he found a video of an airliner with the APU running in flight and leaving its own little contrail ("proof" :D) or airplanes with podded extra engines (for him they are tanks for spraying)

Are you aware of the number of people building conspiracy theories around plain old contrails, calling them chemtrails and believeing it's a plot to somehow do.. something to us? A friend of mind is a believer and I just don't know how to help him. :huh:

had my first flight. it wasn't too difficult. tossed it around, landed and took off no problems. tried to loop it with the weapons still on and gear out.. guess what - it didn't work :D the seat did :) now all i need to do is figure out that GUI :huh:

So, all that HARM opperators need to do is pick a country that is very flat and has perfect weather all the time, and those SAMs are as good as busted. ;) Pantsir can hide, can run and can defend it self. None of those options are 100% safe, but it isn't helpless either. Tehcnology is being developed to further reduce its chances, but SAM designers aren't sitting still either. After all, it's not a very fresh system.

After further reviewing some videos of British Gazelles, those choppers were not inverted. So, it appears that after all this was the first time Gazelle was inverted :) (loop or no loop ;)) If anyone has different info from the British, French or other pilots, please come forward..

Yeah, I've just seen your demo yesterday. It's very cool, but it has a very unrealistic feel to it. That's something you could work on ;)

Yeah, I know this one doesn't have the loop. I was there on Sunday. He also did it on the first day of the airshow, and twice that week in rehursal, so repetitivenes is not a problem :) What I meant is that the maneuver he did is not something I would call a loop. He's partialy going diagonally and then flips over. Something between a loop and a roll. That's the way British do it too. But the chopper was inverted, no question about that. :)

No.. it isn't. And it wasn't a proper loop as far as I could tell. But it is the first time it was done on the Yugoslav licence built version. But a stunning performance by sub-lieutenant Goran Krneta nonetheless. Even more so when you see it in person :) Here it is in HQ
