@urpark, usually the slot blocking script generates a message to the chat which gives you indication why you cannot enter a specific slot. Also, sometimes after the Sim loads, it hangs a bit, be patient. Hope this helps you out!

Server has been updated to 1.5.5 and is now running round 10 testing. Please let us know if you encounter any new issues and if the timeout problem has been fixed. Thanks!

In all seriousness, thank you all for the feedback. We do read it, we do take it under consideration for next rounds. It's our request though, that we keep our behaviors and respect to one another and accept the different views raised. There will always be disputes or disagreements, but please try to do it with constructive replies :) As to removing FC3 modules from Blue Flag. It's an option we discussed previously and might put up, as we explore many different variants, this is an option as all others. We try to bring you different setup variants, with different interest each time. I think we have succeeded with bringing controversial, challenging and interesting setups. Round 9 is around the corner, get ready :)

Side colors are not going to change. What we might change in one of the future variants of Blue Flag is the airbases from which blue starts and red starts.

we are now in testing and we added the radio, it's normal that not everyone will use it but this is going to be the standard for blue flag, so even if you haven't installed it yet, do so. We are not into enforcing although we can simply not allow anyone who is in TS to join the server unless he is in the radio, but we don't want to get to enforcing anything. By monitoring what is happening with the radio, we will decide accordingly for the round start. Also, the next one who calls any buddyspike related projects bullshit or any other non discussion worth insult, will find himself permanently banned, all of blue flag is achieved by our team members giving of their free time for the community, the minimum we ask is to respect that.

About DCS Simple Radio by Ciribob & Blue Flag.... We are currently in the testing phase of round 8, the radio concept is something we wanted to implement for a long time, now that it is here, we will move forward with the opportunity to raise the fidelity and with it the immersion! Although we did not release a standard operating procedure of the radio yet, start using it! Even if you have no one to talk to at that minute, you will learn how to use it and get familiar with the options available and the improvements it introduces to flight communications. So please start using it and get comfortable with it, there is an excellent video made by Ciribob on operating the radio in all air frames, put in the few minutes to discover it and help us push it forward as a standard of use with Blue Flag! If you see anyone not using it with you on TS or in the server, please introduce them to this awesome option, we will all benefit from it! broadcast including the radio - first from F-15 point of view, then from GCI, after a while I also show the radios so scroll to the last 30 minutes if you want to see the GCI working with the radios on the overlay.

We will check it. We will check how the driving is working. But, for the other issues, it's a problem we had with one of the scripts that didn't run, it should be fixed, if not then by tonight.

Delayed, it was easier for us to put this up, due to the low availability of the team recently this is what was decided. We will put one up probably after this round, all depends on availability. We are adjusting the fuel transport to be more relevant. All information will be published in the upcoming round official update.

You can change sides until the round officially starts. Gazzle L variant will be added to the blue side.

probably not the IC but the export restrictions. At the moment we restricted all export options - Objects, Players, Sensors. We might change it as we discover these options.

Because of the format Blue Flag runs in, At a given state the maximum amount that are spawned will be half. it does not include dynamically spawned groups done by CTLD and other scripts. There are around 50 units with switched off AIs that have the AI being switched on in relation to the running campaign. Blue flag usually runs with around 60 players stable for 3 hours cycles.

In blue flag we have more than 2000 units in the mission. after taking care of the normal issues such as using a dedicated server, using no rendering etc.. You should consider DCS limitations - - number of moving ground units. - number of clients. - time the mission runs (suggest to restart every now and then, depends on the above 2 how much time to restart by). - hard running scripts. - graphics setting the server restricts, this directly affects clients with low end computers, eventually they will be the main cause for lag. There's probably some more I forgot to mention.

Most relevant to ground movement, I suggest you remove the ground movement and see if the issue persists. Also, I suggest to wait for the new MP update.

We are waiting to start the testing on the next stable release (1.5.4) that includes the massive MP changes.

Yes, this was already introduced in previous rounds but then removed due to our belief it was related to lag and warping. So, in the next round we will add time of day changes and weather changes.
