  1. Gadget is up and server is now without a password.
  2. Server has been updated to the latest version and Blue Flag is up and running. We would like to test if the issues are resolved with this new version, please test and let us know!
  3. Thanks all for another excellent test yesterday... We had more than 25 players in the server and at that load we saw lag starting to appear. This gives us another direction to start investigating further and get it stabilized for more players.
  4. Actually Schnarre already requested the radio channels for red side, I will have a look as soon as possible. Should not happen, are you sure they managed to go into the slot? Basically slots are not changed, but selecting a slot is restricted according to the current coalition. Reminder - check if the new reduction of the number of units helps FPS and lag when we get to around 20+ players. CU guys in the air
  5. Was great today, thanks to all participants! I noticed some lag on the server and reduced the unit count in the mission from 3800 units to 2800 units, it should also help with FPS. Let me know if you see improvements in those areas!

  7. So, in Blue Flag Normandy we have almost 4000 units in the mission and it ran with more than 20 players without lag. And I believe we have many more scripts running than Burning Skies... Nevertheless, it could be that your scripts are running on all the units and creating hard processing, so should check that, but most likely it is the moving targets, even few create problems. @Solty - notice we have bomber runs that can be called upon and they do not create the lag you describe... Make sure the model is always spawned in the mission so no users have any freezes. What we do see is lower FPS due to the amount of units in the mission probably (no other explanation). Let me know if you find anything else, I'm looking to improve the FPS in the mission and over stability as much as I can, and collaborating will probably get us further then moving on alone!
  8. So, we tested and done some adjustments, VR players still have some issues with dropped frames (probably more noticeable in VR). Non VR has no problems afaik. Will update if there's anything else that we can do.
  9. On next server restart (1.5 hours), the mission will start without any clouds. Please check and let me know. There's also a setting in the mission file for preload radius, I can try to change it and see if we have any different - next step I guess.
  10. RFJack, I reduced the clouds significantly, can you check if there's an improvement? Thank you all for an excellent session tonight, we had around 20 people on the server and I believe it was solid and stable. Apart from that, we have been working through the simple radio which was awesome! Also - - Added winds at different altitudes. - Included Tacview ACMI files to be available via FTP for each server 3 hours, credentials: FTP - ftp://89.163.173.82 USER - BlueFlagNormandy PASS - BuddySpike You are welcome to checkout your flights after each server restart.
  11. So, we have fixed the auto restart with EDs update on a legacy way to open DCS. Server has now restarted and hopefully will remain up. Let's try to stress test with as many players as possible so we can start the round as soon as possible!
  12. all is fixed and server is running smooth except for restarter. we have an issue with the restarter due to the new login screen in the latest Alpha patch, we will update once we find a solution, for the mean time, you might see the server on and off until this is resolved.
  13. We will check the bombs, I saw it doesn't actually send the bombs. About dots through the clouds. The latest update stated - Impostors will not longer being visible through clouds. We will check it. The latest update also stated they fixed the tool tip for VR, we will re-enable it.
  14. eekz, check ground movement if you have any. Disabling any ground movement helps.
  15. 1. We have found an issue with the process priority and affinity on the server which was fixed. I have no idea when it started, but I'm wondering now how it affected the AI flights we added, anyway we would like to test further and will probably add AIs in lower quantity to test. 2. We have updated the statistics, fixed a few issues with KD values showing null. (in cases someone hasn't died yet).
  16. Sorry for the double post :( Server is up and updated the restarter, there was an issue. We will have a look how to avoid it, probably need to change the cloud setting as you said in the chat yesterday.
  17. Yeah, bomber runs are working, I haven't checked if they actually bomb though :) We will include new ships as soon as ED adds the new models they showcased this last news update.
  18. AI goal is to mainly do intercepts and protect objectives. We also introduced some CAS here, will be removed for now.
  19. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm removing the AI airplanes for now until I can check why the warping, I think they introduced more warping although there was already warping in the first place. Another things I'm going to do is change so the AI no longer moves. any ground movement with large quantity of players of vehicles - creates lag as we already know. This will help us get the stability we are looking for. Notice that the stability is probably worse than in 1.5 as the Normandy map is still in Alpha. We are looking forward as well to ED merging to 2.5 and then resolving any bugs that could affect stability. One more thing, Ciribob is looking into the recon - bomber script, it was working previously and now something broke it, he or I will update here once it's fixed.
  20. yes notice it, it might also be the explosion debris that ED added. Also, added AI to CAP and CAS. FW-190 & P-51D - CAS. BF-109 & Spitfire - CAP. Let me know what you think
  21. Added a few fixes to the mission - prespawned - p-51,tf-51, fw-190, bf-109, spitfire. This will reduced the momentary freeze someones was noticed. reduced some graphic settings that should allow better FPS for all and more stabilized server with higher numbers. Let me know how it goes.
