Update - Ace Of Spades - The Ace Factor in Ace Of Spades has been updated, one of the calculations was not entirely correct which led to wrong data in the pilots table. Issue is now fixed and the table shows the correct Ace Factor data retrospective and moving forward. Can be seen here - http://89.163.173.82/DCS/AoS/Player.php Blue Flag - We will start the new Blue Flag round testing this weekend hopefully. More information on the round will be published soon.

Thanks all for the feedback, requests and concerns. Let me update on the current status with our future events and the BuddySpike team. At the moment we are working on a few things: New concept that we will introduce once ready, this concept is based on several ideas of continuity and persistence while keeping competitiveness and more! Will say no more until we have a good POC to showcase. Korea variant of BF, this variant will complete the cycle of available eras - WWII, Korea, 80s/70s, modern. It's one of our goals to run BF variants in a cycle which will let all DCS community the availability for this concept. New features, we are working on new features, some of them are still being created, some already ready - Standalone Radio (Ciribob has created Standalone Simple Radio), Administration tools(already built and running), Statistics, introducing new elements in BF and more. AOS, we have raised Ace Of Spades Dogfights League once again. It is running on DCS ISRAEL most of the week and is available already for use. These are the established things that are currently moving forward. The Team is also busy in RL stuff and things are moving slowly then usual but we are busy at a good time as ED is releasing a big update this weekend and we should be ready to start testing afterwards.:music_whistling: So to all of you who are waiting for our next event, Winter is coming (some say it is already here ;)) BuddySpike Team Ciribob, Crash, Greg & Xcom:thumbup:

@Poly_Roie - Very nice stuff, too bad I couldn't make it! Btw, about making the lua code private, you don't have to use DCS dlls, you can can also compile your lua file externally and then add it, DCS know how to read it, well when inserted into miz files it does.

We as well! It's the plan to start the next test rounds when the 1.5.4 goes out to the stable release of DCS. We have some new things coming up for the next rounds and a new concept in the works.
-
That's the idea and exactly why we asked Ciribob to move forward with a standalone. Our experience of similar concept comes from Falcon BMS where this was broadly used. It is now time to take DCS to the next level of immersion.
-
Both will be added to next round. BuddySpike has put up the Ace Of Spades Air to Air league back up. It is running on DCS ISRAEL at the moment - http://www.buddyspike.net/aceofspades We will update soon about the next event.
-
Please PM with the info.

Thanks for the feedback. About the Heli's at the FARP, It's a known issue and I believe a bug that's been reported to ED already. About deployable artillery, that's a nice idea, we will look into it and if possible, will try to include in the next rounds.

Yes! Ralfidude. This is exactly that concept, when we discussed it with Ciribob on how to push forward the simple radio he created which will have a huge impact on gameplay in DCS, this is what we had in mind. We want to get the communication now to the next level, the taste of what is achievable now with TS only is a fracture of how it will feel once this new radio by Ciribob is implemented. I think Ciribob's dedication speaks for it self, if anything we should be thankful he is moving DCS in that direction as well!

Of course the ban still stands, the decision is final. You can choose to accept it or not. @Arcus, I told you what you should do, reinstall DCS. If you do not want to do it or cannot, you will not be able to join the server again due to the reason we see many issues when you fly, whether they are cheating or desyncs is irrelevant.
-
To summarize this issue, I asked Arcus to reinstall his DCS. At the moment he is banned until he re installs, to make sure there are no issues with his installation that creates these issues.
-
Guys, please relax. I'm discussing it with Arcus, as Falcon said, I do not believe he is doing it on purpose, but rather desyncs with DCS.
-
Looks awesome Shahdoh and everyone who worked to get this done! The Israeli community will definitely take part! Sending you a PM.

Update: Ace Of Spades Air to Air League is back online! Running on DCS ISRAEL at the moment. Link to the Ace Of Spades online dogfights - http://89.163.173.82/DCS/AoS/Player.php Information about the Ace Of Spades server - http://buddyspike.net/aceofspades Ace Of Spades - Air to Air – Dogfight Server Ace of Spades is the dedicated Air to Air – Dogfight Server provided to the DCS World Community by “Buddy Spike”. Have you ever wanted to compete against other players in an instant action and dedicated air to air environment? Then Ace of Spades is the place for you! Contact – Arranging matches Pilots can chat and arrange matches through the “Buddy Spike” website or the “Shoutbox” at the “Ace of Spades” dedicated webpage. An alternate way is to arrange your matches directly inside the “Ace of Spades” server through the DCS World chat with the online pilots. Matches – Gameplay Depending on the match you selected to play, you must then select the proper Aircraft Slot along with your opponent inside the Server (e.g. 1vs1_modern_FULL for a BVR match with modern fighters). -If both pilots select the proper slot then you are ready to get in your cockpit. -Both pilots must enter their aircraft within 30 seconds in order to start the match. -When inside your cockpit you get a countdown timer that will inform you when the match starts. -Fights on! Matches available: 1vs1 / 2vs2 / 4vs4 Eras: WW2 / 50's / 80's / Modern Statistics Each pilot's performance is monitored by our Server. Pilots' & Matches statistics are available on our Website. Statistics page: http://89.163.173.82/DCS/AoS/AOS.php Ace Factor One of the most anticipated feature is the realtime calculation of the Ace Factor. The Ace Factor is the score of each pilot that is being built throughout his match performance. These are the parameters that affect the Ace Factor value: -Air to Air kills Each air to air kill will increase your Ace Factor value. The value of increasement depends on the Ace Factor of the Opponent. That means that if you Kill a strongest enemy, then your Ace Factor increases more than killing an inexperienced pilot. -Deaths Each time you are getting shot down in a match, your Ace Factor decreases. The value of increasement depends on the Ace Factor of the Opponent. That means that if you get shot down by a strongest enemy then your Ace Factor decreases less than getting killed by an inexperienced pilot. -Air to Air Kill Assistance Each time you assist killing an enemy in a 2vs2 or 4vs4 match you increase your Ace Factor value. The percentage of increasement depends again to the Ace Factor of the Opponent. Fight Setups WWII ERA : P-51Ds / BF-109 / FW-190 Initial Altitude : 2000m / 6500ft Initial distance between the fighters : 20km / 12nm 50's ERA : F-86s & MiG-15s Initial Altitude : 2000m / 6500ft Initial distance between the fighters : 50Km / 30nm HEATERS SETUP Loadout: F-86F: 2x GAR Missiles 80's ERA : MiG-21s (Mirage to be added) Initial Altitude : 7000m / 23000ft Initial distance between the fighters : 25km (Guns Setup), 45km (Heaters Setup), 70km (Full Setup) HEATERS SETUP LOADOUT : 4x R-60M FULL SETUP LOADOUT : 2x R-60M / 2x R-3R MODERN ERA : SU-27s/F-15Cs Initial Altitude : 7000m / 23000ft Initial distance between the fighters : 25km (Guns Setup), 45km (Heaters Setup), 70km (Full Setup) HEATERS SETUP LOADOUT : SU-27: 4x R-73 F-15C: 4x AIM-9M FULL SETUP LOADOUT : SU-27: 4x R-27ER / 2x R-27ET / 2x R-73 F-15C: 4x AIM-120C / 2x AIM-7 / 2x AIM-9M Promotional video: Tutorial (may contain outdated info): Have fun!

It's back up.
-
Folks, the reset was undone already yesterday a few hours after it occurred... We keep backups and when something like that occurs we immidietly roll back. The faster you update and notify us, the faster we respond and solve issues that arise, be calm that we would not let all the hard work that's been done go to waste like that.
-
You mean the 30 minute notice for mission restart. Noted and we will add a notice for 45 minutes, thanks for letting us know.
-
TS is back up! Password for TS: RayGun

Working on it. Looking into it, we need exact nickname next time. Next time, PM with the info, lone accusations without any facts will not be received, we need screenshots/vids that indicate the issue. And please keep ED forum rules, which applies in this thread also applies for entering our server. Let's keep it a civilized and competitive environment.
-
Yey, went through 100k views of the thread. Korea setting will still be, at the moment we are working on a new concept which means the korea variant might be a little delayed.
-
Yes, we will update soon with the prizes for each sides mvp.
-
For this round we will be using Aim7s vs R-27R/T. It is back to the 80s setting of all the units. Round 7 starts now.
-
Nah, it is not related to the scripts or number of players, we are sure of that. We did find something just now with the mission, we are fixing it and will check if the lag that occurs at very specific occasions is clear. It was found thanks to good feedback. Thank you!

Online map is currently offline, the server is up and running. The online map will be up soon.
