  1. Check you firewalls are disabled and try again, both windows and router. Other than that, There's not much we can do, it could be a routing issue between you, ED master server and our server.
  2. Updates on Blue Flag: Removed objectives - Alagir, Goryachiv, Ochamchira, Lanchuti, sukhumi SAM, terek. Changed objectives - Tkvarcheli to Zemo-Azhara, Oni to Tianeti, Martvili - Kuizu, Hataldon to Kazbegi, urup to Habaz, Chikola to roadbase. Added missing intercepts to all airbases. Fixed placing. added missing static objectives. Removed irrelevant units in objectives. Added helicopters to all airbases. Added minimum planes for each side in each airbase - F5e, a-10c, mig-21, su-25t, tf-51. Server is already up and running, please let us know how it runs and if you find any issues.   4. There are stats, notice when going to the live map you have Statistics tab at the top. Currently they are offline but we will bring them back up soon.
  5. This is kind of a problematic report, the server does not actually crash, but it hangs and becomes unresponsive, unless I don't kill the process, it will keep running. I'm attaching the mission it happened with and reproduced on 3 times after running the mission for around 20 minutes, the logs are not very helpful as they are also hanging, the resources on the server didn't show anything special. But it is definitely because of the Harrier, once the Harrier was not used, the mission ran fine with no lag what so ever for 14 hours. Added the mission file and 3 ACMI files from Tacview that shows how it crashed.   6. Guys, we will take a look at the Harrier and hopefully find a solution either by adding it to the bases or/and finding a solution in the Road bases. Yes we are on 2.5, check your firewall.

Steps to reproduce: 1. start a dedicated server. 2. load up a mission on the dedicated server that has 2 of the same units inside, one is already there from the start and one is late activated through spawning with coalition.addgroup 3. enter the server with a separate client. 4. enter a forward observer slot and try to move the already present unit - unit should not be moveable as you are in forward observer and not ground commander. 5. once the unit is spawned, try to move it and you will be able to move it like a ground commander. Hope this is enough to report the issue.
  8. When spawning in a static object or a fortification object, it is spawned in invisibly when doing so through a multiplayer server. The units are shown on the F-10 but are not shown in the 3D world. Logs didn't indicate any issue. Was spawning both with http://wiki.hoggit.us/view/DCS_func_addGroup and with http://wiki.hoggit.us/view/DCS_func_addStaticObject Both showed the above issue. Let me know if you need further information, this is affecting our Blue Flag mission severely as we have many static and fortification units which are spawned invisible.
  9. BIGNEWY, thanks for all the help in getting these bugs escalated to ED! We are trying to help and report any bugs as well to progress 2.5 stability.
  10. Update - Crashing has been mostly fixed, it was identified to be related to units dispersing after being attacked. Ciribob updated some of the scripts to make sure this option will be disabled. We are hoping this issue and the invisible fortification and static objects spawning will be resolved with next patches by ED. Currently we are proceeding with stabilizing the server and stress testing. We will run further stress tests during this week to finalize the stability, please let us know if you encounter any performance or lag issues specifically in our server.

    label mod?

    Hi Doom, Please see my attached lua file here - https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3223589&postcount=1209 The way to use this mod is as follows - You edit the miz file and place a new folder - Config\View\ Inside there you place the Labels.lua You need to make sure the mission is running with labels on. You can also edit the Labels.lua file as you wish, but I find this setup quite good for WWII. Xcom
  12. Update - We have optimized the server performance and we are getting good and stable 40 players so far. Notice that there are still server crashes due to a bug we have already reported to ED, so when flying in the server currently, you can expect the server to crash unexpectedly until ED fixes this bug.

I reported the crash information here - https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3389628&postcount=30 As it is happening in Blue Flag also since 2.5 was released and both hotfix1 & 2 did not solve it. We also don't see the issue related to scripts, but rather to commanding of newly spawned units. We have also tested in Blue Flag. In Blue Flag we didn't use tactical commander but actually used forward observer to avoid people moving units around, I believe all other dynamic servers have done the same after we noticed that moving units in a large scale create lag. We have noticed 2 issues thus far: 1. After units are spawned in, they are controlable although they are not supposed to be, this can be part of the issue or a whole other issue all together. 2. Spawned in static (Fortification) units (such as bunkers and barracks) are spawned in invisible. This tells us that there might be issues with the spawn mechanism, maybe the transport.dll issue is related to the first issue I mentioned.
  14. Crashed again, had no crash log for some reason, but error was again on transport.dll
  15. Server is updated to the latest 2.5 hotfix 2 update. This should eliminate the crashes that have been happening, but still not eliminate the issues with static units spawning invisible, hopefully that will be resolved in next patches by ED. Please give us some feedback on stability and Lag.

  19. About the crashes of the server, we identified an issue with Transport.dll that causes a crash with serveral servers. It has already been reported and hopefully will be identified and fixed by ED as soon as possible, until then, please refrain from using any built in transport capabilities of the Uh-1h or Mi-8 (CTLD is allowed ofcourse). In a few days we will update the map with several fixes from your feedback and some coalition changes. We will try to improve on stability more and more to allow smooth game play as much as we can. Please keep up with the reports, it helps us identify things we would not be able to identify any other way. Updates: - Fixed some positioning of units and statics. (please check and let us know of specific locations you can find with problems). - AJS37 and AV8B are seperated to different coalitions to be available in road bases. - Reduced some unit count to improve stability. - Coalitions are split between the modules so friendly on friendly action will be minimized and to try out some challanging setup for both sides. Red: Helicopters - Mi-8, Ka-50. Aircrafts - Mig-21, Mig-29S, Mig-29A, Su-27, Su-33, Su-25, Su-25T, AJS-37. Intercept - Mig-29A. Recon - TF-51. Bomber - Tu-22.
