  1. Hi, I made many Su-27 textures for 3GO V1.51Pp in FC1.12a, these were realistic skins of real aircraft from Polyarniy, Lodeynoe pole, Kilp Yavr, Novaya Zemlya, Rogatchevo, Savasleyka etc. Apart from the great skins that came along in 3GO installer I used them in game and made new skin entries thru MEInit.xml (IIRC). I believe I had to edit few other files in FC1.12 (that I can't remember ATM) to make those skins appear as Russian colorschemes only. I did it because I didn't want to overwrite existing 3GO skins (#1 thru #10) where some of them are shared for Ukrainian Flankers too. Having an Ukrainian Flanker with 641st IAP markings and insignia was something I tried to avoid in my installation. So I added new colorscheme entries some of which can be seen here. I still struggle with FC2 system and try to understand shape of things but I just cannot figure out how to add more colorschemes to 3GO Su-27 V1.51 so I need your help on this. Thanks all in advance.
  2. Back with FC1.12 I used this little but great tool called LOCFG to swiftly edit and backup almost everything, from graphics to dates your FC takes into account during mission editing. I remember an option allowing a player to change a date your mission takes place. This used to affect sun/moon position in the sky, moon shape (full to crescent) and daylight periods. If you select 21st of December those days didn't last too long... I wonder if the same can be done with FC2 and if there's such external tool? If not can someone please explain which date is day #1, it ain't January 1st for sure... Regards!
  3. Hey, does the Rssan seat fix work with FC2? I hate looking at default seat with 6DOF enabled.
  4. PErhaps already posted, Full HD T-50 display at MAKS 2011:
  5. The more I look at T-50, more it reminds me of T-10... Sliding canopy especially!
  6. It was FC1.12a but I voted Lock On! I run a .xls logbook of my flight hours since Flanker, both SP and MP!
  7. Video being private prevents me from seeing it!
  8. Nice!
  9. Looks pretty complicated!
  10. Yeah, hot week but cold and rainy weekend!
  11. I see you've been there on both Friday and Saturday! Nice photos!
  12. Yeah a true beauty! MVSGAS thanks for the info!
  13. I second that, I've seen T-50 over at MAKS and to be honest it just proved my doubts. Current engines used, be it -31 or -41, are huge radar/IR beacons. I saw the compressor blades spinning as she taxied in front of public. "True stealth" engines of the future simply ask for nacelle redesign, pretty much most of the fuselage needs redesigning in order to fit new curved inlets.
  14. Can you guys knowing and working the F-16 say diff between big and small mouth Falcons? Can you show it with Photos?
  15. It's a mod by Grandsurf and AFAIK it's WIP, not available for DL ATM!
  16. If You guys ever visit Croatia look for this one:
  17. Man I really wish for DCS:Mi-28 after seeing it performing on Friday on MAKS...
  18. IRC we had Portugese Vipers doing the same to Spanish EFAs few years ago, Pilotasso correct me if I'm wrong!
  19. Runway was wet on sunday, perhaps engine had too much to drink that day.
  20. Thanks Lester, I'll take it into account in 2013. With my russian language being resurrected occasionaly (last time I actively used it during MAKS 09 and I had obigatory russian and english language lessons during my primary school years) I managed to get along pretty good. Yes the shuttle bus drove us back to Platform 42km on our way back to Moscow leaving from Gate 3 (near Citroen camp). One thing I noticed is that more people than in 2009, especially younger folks, speak english language. I guess internet helped a lot, however older folks are not familiar with it even the customs officers or airport personnel. I wasn't dissapointed with MAKS but with some support companies, such as this specific grill restaurant. In Moscow I had my coffees usually at Coffee House located at Staraya Ploshad on station Kitai Gorod. I liked their double cappuccino and a WiFi hotspot theyhad running there! I'll upload my photos to my Photobucket public gallery and post you all a link to it. Thanks!
