I use sli , 2 screens both at 1920 x 1080 and I get between 50 and 100 frames . I get occasional cloud flicker but only occasional so I cannot complain. With one card and ONE screen I get the same fps but as soon as I add a second monitor I drop to 50 on average with one screen. Soooo, if you want multiple monitors then sli IS worth it to have the game running at such a high frame rate, sli is commonly disregarded and I have no idea why because it gives me high frames, higher frames and a second monitor to use as a targeting pod.

I cheekily hide my rudder and stick and gpu boxes away so she doesn't ask any questions.

Yes sir, when you get your hands on it and get used to the button spread it feels awesome. Even the two stage trigger feels amazing. So glad I took the chance.

Just got he warthog and throttle. All I can say is 'hot damn' it is a savage piece of robust beef. I was using an X52 Pro which is cool but the Warthog feels amazing. Love the 8 way hat switch on the stick for controlling my slew and the ring finger latch on the stick for resetting my track ir. The sheer variety of switches on the the throttle is amazing, switches and buttons everywhere and in saying that the throttle is huge, one has to see it to believe it, everything is so well spaced. Just ordered rudder pedals because you just GOT to have them to improve the immersion factor (not to mention it doesn't have a twist) but who cares it's a really serious piece of gear and I don't need any programming software either. The less running the better I say. If you have been on the fence and I am telling you to splash out if you can afford one, I got it in prep for DCS World 2.

Ed could use the ilok protection system and do away with licences. In the audio industry licences are downloaded onto iloks (dedicated usb) and as long as the ilok is in the pc you can add remove at your hearts content. I ran out of Black Shark one licence which is 5 years old and as a result was unable to install black shark 2 upgrade. So guess what? I bought black shark 2. Again.

My 2 970's are beast.

Hold the weapon release button for 4 seconds when you see manual release on the hud.

I cant imagine downloading so slow. I get about 7 megabytes a second with upc fiber broadband.

I have 2 strix 970's in sli. They are quite. They only require one 8 pin connector per card where my 780 classified required two 8 pin connectors. The swap over was simple for my first sli build. I am playing all my games at 1440p now and wont be returning to 1080p ever again. I am playing warthog and blackshark maxed and capped at 60. My frame rates are 60 with ground units and 40 with air units. The air units ZAP frames in DCS. I hope to God this is resolved in Edge.

The wait will be worth it. It's exciting news, were a few months away from brand new terrain and features, happy days.

Yes I am in the same boat, not playing until new map.

I have mods installed but I won't be updating until confirmation that the patch is working correctly since the previous update.

I agree it's all going to go crazy in 2.0 so best hang up your pit until then

I'll wait until this matter is hot fixed before attempting an update but I must give ed credit, I have never ever had update problems , hard luck old son, chin up.
