  1. I spent some time last night looking for the key binding - it's just not there, and it's missing from the manual as well. Thanks for confirming this. Let's hope they can write a quick fix.
  2. To be honest, before this sim I always thought the Huey was designed to be open, i.e. no cargo doors... you never see it in Vietnam-era movies with the doors closed :)
  3. Straight curves with no deadzone seem to work for me - I extended the stick using these instructions, I just added some plastic tubing and duct tape inside the handle to strengthen it. Also, it seems that if I shut down the Logitech control panel, force trim works fine... no need for SimFFB. With the panel enabled it feels like the centering spring is always enabled. But I have to verify this; it may be that I just don't know how it should feel. Anyway, after trimming I need very little force to keep the helo flying (almost) straight, and the stick will not be centered. Doesn't work (properly) with the Ka-50 though. EDIT: yes it does, after MacGyvering the optical dead man sensor on the stick.
  4. 8 takeoffs, 0 landings. Although I could have walked away from the first one.
  5. There's a perfectly good explanation for that. You see, water and ethanol form a mixture that is not completely homogeneous, and light will actually bend when passing through it. You'll have that unholy mixture all around your system, including the eyeballs. So it'll seem (to you) that you're flying perfectly, but others will wonder why you keep wiggling the stick and cursing at those damn SAMs. After ejecting almost an hour earlier. By accident. While attempting to raise the gear. It did make a strange noise, though. Oh, and there's absolutely no hurry with the release: I just built an eject handle for my sad excuse of a cockpit. It requires several weeks of heavy testing, and since the Huey has no ejection seat...
  6. Hep! Kaarinan suunnalla.
