Hey, in addition to copying my old profile from C:\Users\MyName\Saved Games\DCS , I also deleted entire C:\Users\MyName\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config folder and replaced it with the one from old C:\Users\Gunja75\Saved Games\DCS\. x52 here and having issues too. I had to remap all controls. Saved file from DCS doesn't load correctly in beta for me.

Good read, thanks for the article link. I'm not surprised at all. It is just what I was expecting. I didn't regret buying DK1 or DK2 and what I experienced with those is worth far more than 350$. I'm not a rich guy... far from it actually but I'll pay what ever they ask for it. And later when there will be as much choice of HMD's as it is now for CPU's, GPU's, controllers and other things we spend money on, i will always go for the premium consumer HMD on the market. I'm in love with my DK2 and I use it for racing all the time. I've said good bye to the 3 screens setup and didn't look back.

My steps to uninstall 0.7 were: Start - all programs - oculus runtime - uninstall After that I installed 0.6.0.1-beta from here https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/pc/0.6.0.1-beta/Oculus_Runtime_for_Windows/

I have reverted back from runtime 7 without problems. Just uninstalled rt.7 and installed back to my previous version.

I hope rift will work with amd cards on the new engine.

15 FPS with this intel HD 4000 is good result. Onboard gfx card is a big NO for DCS. Impossible. All your components except gfx seems to be quite good. Your FPS will double AT LEAST. If you wanna pay less go for ATI HD 79xx series. Much cheaper and same FPS.

There are key commands layouts in FC2/doc folder and commands are the same i guess. F-15 keys Here is entire FC2 doc folder if you dont have it.

Those two sounds are used in original missions made by ED. The one that you located is some music and the one i'm looking for is kind of a beep sound. Thanks for trying to help bud :)

cockpit.ogg which is located in sounds\effects is quite similar to xmit. If i'll have to, i'll use that one for message sound. Still, if someone could help, please do. Thanks.

Can anyone tell me where to locate "success" and "xmit" sound files? I've searched entire sound folder but no luck. I can locate success.ogg in temp\mission folder but i doubt it's default location. I cant locate xmit at all. Thanks.

did you make it work? I used sidewinder pedals in XP also and it did the job perfectly, but no way to make it single axis in Win7. Maybe there is some universal joystick setup software that someone knows about?

I wonder... if ED rented a bunch of dedi boxes, made game servers and sub-let them to the community charging per slot. iRacing lets you pay and open a server just for one race or a day. This method would be ideal for people flying with their friends maybe once a week. Let's say ED makes a server with the password. Client pays for one day and get's the password. Now he can admin this server for xx hours untill the server is reset and password is changed. In that time he can remove the pass and make it public or share that pass with his friends. Might not be a big profit for them, maybe just to cover the costs but i think it would be a good thing for FC & DCS. I'm sure it couldnt be bad for this sim if ED did something to help out in this area.
