When Intel or AMD makes an CPU based on old technology, but some 10-15 ghz. Other words never.

My first 3d accelerator, voodo card. The difference that i saw can not be compared to anything after that. My first analogue joystick, thrustmaster's replica of F16 stick (forgot it's name). To be able to gradually roll or pitch was a dream come true. Next was TIR, just a perfect piece of hardware. Now i know that it would be easier to fly without a joystick, than without TIR.

Well, now i know why i couldn't visually spot the planes until they were in my guns range. It was my monitor. I switched from really old CRT to LCD and now i can spot other planes at MUCH greater distance. Funny thing is that i changed the monitor because i wonted 16:10 screen, not because i thought that the picture quality was bad. :doh: First time i fired up lockon with this monitor, felt like having some extra sharp vision addon. It didn't just get better looking. Dogfights which use to be my nightmares, now became one of my greatest joy in lockon.

yes, after watching some videos on Stage 6, i couldnt see (only hear) any video from my HDD. after reinstaling dvix and restarting PC all was fine again. i need to do the same after every visit to Stage 6 this does not happen on my laptop though.

Like OldFrankHog mentioned and provided the link, you can use LOCFG application to change resolution and aspect ratio, without manually rewriting values in graphics.cfg file. Great tool.

I'm one of that kind as well. Love those race sims and i'm racing along with flying since i can remember. Curently GTR2 has my heart (i have every sim mentioned in this post and more), it is a beautiful racing sim. Name is the same where ever i am, cant miss me ;)

serious flight simmer looking for a full real Aply as cadet to 169th, but only if you realy stick to bolded words from the quote. As i've heard, you are not allowed to make mistakes there, which is a full real if you ask me and i guess that is what you are looking for. Some of demands that 169th lay in front of their pilots sound unbelievable to me, but if they realy were unbelievable, 169th members would not exist. I could never survive in a squadron like that, but you on the other hand might have a brilliant future there and sound to me like real 169th material.

I got MSFFB2 and my FFB works just fine. BUT... once i tryed without, i didnt wanna go back. I feel like my mooves are much smoother, especialy if you stall ur plane. For example, stick looses centering force and you pull it even harder which is not good in stall situation. Anyway, i like it better now with FFB off, just centering force.
