  1. I Twitted him about this game, but I don't know if he read it at all. But I think he would be interested since he always complains about the lack of proper space games like the X-Wing/Tie-Fighter series... maybe the dev should try to contact him :P

People seem to forget that even if you own 1 module, you're still getting a hell of a lot of new content related to other modules for free, like new models/textures, AFM for missiles, the ability to play online with people in other planes. Hell, you even get a new plane FOR FREE in DCS World ><.... If ED was anything like EA or Activision, they would charge for every single update as DLC pack. lol! Bear with the bugs, it's worth it. Rock on Eagle Dynamics! edit: lol, my point is: People don't seem to whine about the new features implemented with FC3, like AFM for missiles, resource manager, etc, only about the bugs :(

I've been playing the Black Shark "Deployment" campaing and the air support is always so reckless :( I'm currently on a mission called "Dusk" (11th mission, I think...), my Ka-50 flight is supposed to kill a bunch of armor/artillery after a Su-34 provides SEAD. But everytime I get to the ingress point, the Su-34 gets shot down (sometimes by a simple Manpad haha:mad:), and then everything else is also shot down - 2xSu-25s and 2xSu-24s I can still complete the mission by killing the SAMs myself and slowly killing everything with rockets/guns but it's so annoying to see the damn air support getting killed because they go berserk in every mission :/ Again, this happens almost in every mission that involves SEAD, but I got especially disappointed in this one because this mission is so well done. There's a satellite-like picture of the entire AO in the briefing screen showing all the SAM/AAA positions. PS: I never played Black Shark 1, so I don't know if this used to happen back then.
  5. The fuel quantity switch works. The issue is actually with the fuel gauge... I mean, if you start a mission with let's say 10% fuel, the fuel gauge will show 10% even without powering it. If you refuel your aircraft to 100%, the gauge will still show 10%... it'll only show 100% fuel after you flip up the switch. PS: The gauge keep showing 100% after you turn everything off.   7. Yeah, the zoom effect is nice to look at, but it makes stuff like clicking on the UFC buttons hard as hell because of the image displacement :( Anyways, GREAT MOD, the issue above is the only reason why I stopped using it :p
  8. Did anyone notice that at approximately 28:10 Wags shot a Vihkr without lasing the target? :P
  9. It sounds like you hold down the trim button while doing some turns or when you wanna enter level flight. If that's true, that's pretty much how I fly... I don't think it's the correct way, but works like a charm for non-FFB users and it is really smooth. No bumpy trimming:D!
  10. Yes, you're right. But the PVI will also work if you flip only the "K-041 Targeting-Navigation" switch on the Left Panel, even if you're only on batteries or ground power.
  11. What does this switch on the wall panel exactly do? The tooltip says "Navigation System Power" The Ka-50 Flight Manual (page 6-84) says: I flew an entire mission to test it in the "disabled" position and everything seemed to work fine. I tested the PVI-800 (even inserted some nav target coordinates manually), autopilot Enroute mode, Auto Hover, Shkval, etc etc, all worked fine. Sorry if this was posted before, I've searched all over the forums and haven't found an answer. There are even some "Black Shark Start Up" videos on youtube that don't even mention this switch.   13. Wow, calm down :O It's not that I don't like getting shot down, in fact I when I join the server I see which side has less people, then I see if they need more A2A or A2G. And that's why I end up on Flankers, Mig-29s or Ka-50s most of the time on MP servers. Anyways, thanks for the "passionate" input. :P

Yesterday I was playing on a MP server with the A-10C, got shot down by a Mig and I thought "Damn, gonna have to do that start up procedure again... :(" Thats when I had this idea (sorry if anyone already posted this): don't you guys think the FC3 planes should have some sort of feature to slow down how fast they can get to the air? I don't mean anything fancy... You just press the buttons to turn on the engines and a 4-7min timer appears (like the one when you use the auto-start button on a DCS aircraft), maybe it plays the Battery/APU sounds so it isn't too quiet. I know it sounds gimmicky, but one of the reasons FC3 fighters don't fear each other is because they know if they die, they can get to the air almost instantly, instead of thinking "If I die, our strikers won't have support for at least 7-10mins depending how fast I can get to them"

  16. That bug happened to me once and I think it was related to alt-tabbing. Try running your game in windowed mode edit: Sorry, didn't read this part. But try running the game in windowed mode anyway

  20. Yeah, I noticed that too. When I'm flying low with the Ka50 and that dense smoke pops up, my fps gets halved. :( If 1.1.1.1 supported Combined Arms I'd go back for sure edit: AMD 1090T Phenom II x6 @4.1ghz, 8GB DDR3 1600mhz, nVidia GTX 660Ti 2GB

I think most OPFOR-fans feel left out because of the poor quality of some russian planes when FC3-Beta came out (Su-33, Su-27) and because BLUE will have four 6-DOF cockpits (A-10C, F-15C, P-51 and nex-DCS) when the next module comes out, while RED has only one (Ka-50). I guess most RED-fans here would trade the AFM on the Su-25T/Su-25 for a Mig-29 or Su-27/33 with 6-DOF cockpit.

  23. Will this be resolved before patch 1.2.2? It's currently impossible to progress in the campaign because of this bug :( Anyways, great job on patch 1.2.1, fps is better than in 1.2.0 for me and the annoying mouse bug has been fixed :D
