I have bought the pre-sell, but haven't received the backer's key... Still, no worries :) - KGB -

^^^+1 Original backer + pre-ordered it to support LN. You can expect at least 7-8 orders from our squad. And no, I don't like beer, keep focusing on the quality and the Russian birdies instead :D - KGB -

Very much looking forward to put this awesome eastern bloc trainer into my virtual hangar. Really nice work, thanks for the update! - KGB -

I'm afraid nobody from this part of the forum will be able to cure you (except Dr. Cobra with his special mixture). Most probably we are all sharing the same disease until then :D The only thing you can do is to try out new tools for raping the refresh key just to ease your pain... - KGB -

Autopilot - unable to engage roll/pitch channel
agentkgb replied to Trainzak's topic in Bugs and Problems
Confirmed here, 3 of us tried it out with the same result. The roll/pitch damper doesn't work. - KGB - -
Guys, I think you have chosen the wrong tactics. If you are already free, get some rest now, and wake yourself up around midnight :joystick: - KGB -

Exactly:(

I feel your pain, we are in the same shoes :) I am waiting for this module since years as an indiegogo backer. Still, there's not much we can do at this time, and bugging the developers won't help either. The only reason I'm not really wondering about the delays, that I work close to software development, so it is business as usual. Also the Mig-21 in it's current state is much more (at least I think) what was mentioned in the original plans. I'm referring to the complete code migration and exterior/interior overhaul. - KGB -

Guys, what makes you think, that the integration, quality check and adjustments are taking only days or several weeks after the development is finished. We are talking about a full fledged DCS plane which is complex enough to test and adjust, that's how software industry works. What we know for sure from the posts, that these are the current activites going on right now. If you can't see the end of the tunnel, you won't set a release date (lessons learned from this forum). If you read between the lines what Cobra and Sith posted, it seems obvious that the delay has nothing to do with EDGE/1.3.0 whatever. It's just another track (additional work if you like) which should be also supported by the module, and it's the plane makers responsibility. That makes no sense from the business point of view from either side (LN-ED), to hold back the module once it is ready and accepted because of the new IG, see 1.2.9 and Sabre, but an intermediate patch also can be introduced for such purpose. So just sit back and relax, wait for the new videos and announcements, keep up your enthusiasm and hit the buy button once it is available :D - KGB -

Don't forget about the Open Beta :) It will hopefully come, and it comes sooner... Then it is up to you whether joining or not. - KGB -

Confirmed here. Probably a limitation of the terrain physics. However I would say it is less problematic during landing, but surely it makes the takeoff from grass tricky. After landing if it is still bouncing - I have experienced it on sloppy terrain - pull the brake and push the cyclic to the direction it wants to lift/bounce, then push the trim. It will stand still. - KGB -

DCS 1.2.7 Open Beta - Preliminary Changelog
agentkgb replied to Mike Busutil's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Is there any possibility of getting the Su-25T 6DOF cockpit update in 1.2.7? I know it was not included in the list, and I don't complain about it. I just ask :) - KGB - -

In-cockpit landing, breaking through vortex ring
agentkgb replied to rrohde's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Then I was right, thanks Zarni. I already have that manual, just couldn't check it. So it is NOT hydraulic, rather pneumatic (gas-operated). - KGB - -
In-cockpit landing, breaking through vortex ring
agentkgb replied to rrohde's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
Guys, I may be wrong, but that parking brake on the Mi-8 isn't air operated? At least that sound cannot be heard on hydraulic systems AFAIK. Like a big truck, (well older one), whose brake system is air operated and not fluid (hydraulic) like in a car. So in case it is hydraulic, we shouldn't hear anything at all. If it is air operated, well it depends how far the buffer tank is located from the cockpit but it definitely should have a distinguishable sound like what we had... But then we should have the air compressor sound aswell, if it is not far from the cockpit :) - KGB - -
It works! On gain level=0.5 I can at least notice the sound, and yes, with open sidewindows it is just like before the patch. I will adjust it a bit more, and will be perfect! Thanks Chardly! - KGB -

A little question about the Rudder Trimmer...
agentkgb replied to Skulleader's topic in DCS: Mi-8MTV2 Magnificent Eight
It means, that if you for exampe move the cyclic to the right, and you want to keep it there, more force will be needed to do that. After you trim, the cyclic will remain there, and will not return to the center (as for us, if you release your joy, it will go back to the center), and the force which you apply to the cyclic until you trim will be neutralized. Just watch your virtual cyclic in the cockpit. You move it, you trim, and your stick on the desk will go back to the center, or you have to center it. But your virtual cyclic in the game will not go back to the center, it will remain in the new position. That's it. - KGB -
