  1. Yes, they are. Just not show. Yet.
  2. "Missing WORLD" issue seems to be related to the DCS World installer failing on some systems. It does not register WORLD as installed. A fix is on the way - coming to Open beta in a couple of hours. Open beta should not suffer from this issue, though...
  3. never do this
  4. BF-109K4
  5. Indeed.
  6. The technical possibility for this is already implemented in the internal builds and may come in some future update.
  7. No need to apologize, cause a) you don't have to be a pro in this field b) you posted exactly what we need ;) Please, try disabling "Use TLS 1.0" in IE's Advanced Options. EDIT: Another idea is to disable Protected Mode within IE11
  8. the connection seems to work. if you can, please windows event log for SSL or TLS errors, when you tried to login to the master.
  9. The login to master consists of 2 parts: 1) https access to http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com - this part seems to work for you 2) TCP connection to master.eagle.ru port 5222 - this part seems to fail for you, most probably either your firewall or your ISP is blocking the connection (most probably because of the .ru domain).
  10. My only take on dcs soundtracks: thank all of you who do like it :)
  11. Please, post the error screen shot and autoupdate_log.txt file from the game install folder.
  12. The most recent log says DCS/1.2.10.32095.521 (x86_64; EN; KA-50bs1,A-10A,A-10C,P-51D,CA,KA-50_video_EN,A-10A_video_EN,SU-25T_video_EN) this misses WORLD component. it's not the updater's problem, looks like one stage of the DCS World installer failed when you installed the world first time. Two ways to fix: 1) cmd line: DCS_updater.exe install WORLD this will update the world and repair it. should be pretty fast since you have most of the files in place. alternatively, 2) reinstall everything from scratch. P.S. I will reconsider some assumptions about the install process in the updater.
  13. Yes, do a repair.
  14. Yes the issue is solved. The post is fixed. Thank you for the report.
  15. you've provided no logs so far, so we can only guess what's up with your install. and, btw, why you feel the need to repurchase the modules? there are installers on the dcs site. full reinstall is not that dramatic, apart from DL size - so it's a valid option. depending on the state of your install, and on the root of the problem, it may be possible to restore your dcs. but i suggest you to seriously consider a reinstall - it is much simpler and more robust.
  16. both versions are essentially the same. disk problems?
  17. http://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/
  18. a) there's no autoupdate.db in the recent dcs versions, only autoupdate.dat nonetheless b) everything will work without this file, even the updater will start, but the updates wont apply
  19. the fix pushed to the release.
  20. autoupdate_log.txt from the game install dir, please.
  21. yes. as an extended test, please add a couple more steps: Do a repair Uninstall the training Do a repair and send me the autoupdate_log* files. That will be Über.
  22. only if you have su25t training installed.
