Is the KA-50 cockpit a reworked one from a modder ? I haven't tried it yet, but seems that the one for the A-10 is the Ricardo's war horse mod.
-
In my case the only way to solve this is running my desktop with that same resolution.
-
Never thought that the new engine is going to be so powerful.. DCS and ED have a bright future for sure.. Congratulations to the team
-
Still crashing for me.. always crash when loading terrain surface. After deleting and installing the module again, when replaced the files it works.. pc mysteries I guess..
-
Same here
-
If I remember well, if you download the beta installer, it take the files for your regular installation and download only the ones that are different. After that, you have two installs and can delete the regular and keep only the beta

And what if they release it the next Friday ?? In my town there are holidays from the next Friday to Monday.. :music_whistling: Nah.. I need it now.. too time waiting, don't think I can resist until the next week..
-
Don't listen anybody here mate, keep your innocence alive at least for a time..
-
And what about the IR Jammer ? it's on the model, but as far as I know is not functional.. The SU-25T also uses it so maybe they can adapt the ED code for it.
-
Wish I can hibernate until the release..:cry:
-
He was sending the files with last minute fixes to ED, I tell you..:music_whistling:
-
Seems legit :dunno:
-
In fact Rudel is talking about a fix of last minute visual errors.. shouldn't be something very strange..
-
Maybe they are going to include the last version of the Mig in the 1.5 open beta without testing in the closed one..
-
Read this post = http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2487052&postcount=1248 Why nobody is going to rush 27 hours working on the Mig-21 patch for 1.5 if the 1.5 release isn't going to be released imminently ?
-
Glad to see that 1.5 release is imminent :joystick: Keep the good work, all of us have a great hope on leatherneck team.

Should be to not hurt the sales of M-2000 and L-39.. there isn't any other reason.. Anyway now we know for sure that one the modules ( probably the first one being announced by that same reason ) is the Viggen, so the announcement don't have the same surprise factor now.. and next is the beta release data.. I will be extremely surprised if they release one of the planned betas this year.. In fact DCS should be renamed to Delayed Combat Simulator :megalol: // Is only a joke Sith.. :poster_ban: :surrender:

Hi JuanOscar, In my point of view, as long as you put here regular updates about your progress there is no problem to wait. And I find more needed the new flight model than the CC update, because is very hard to fly the C-101 with the sfm having all the other modules with the advanced flight models. And I like to make you a question about the rear cockpit and multi seat. VEAO has said that due the way of implementing the multiseat and rear cockpit by ED they can't add that capability to the Hawk without redoing big part of the systems. Hope you don't have the same problem.. these trainers without such capability lose most of their charm. Good luck with your project

Hi Jabo That 970 is a very good choice. And for the memos.. wait.. I have 16 GB and never seen DCS consuming more than 3GB. Wait for the new engine, and if your CPU can handle it, then you can upgrade your memory..

In the module list the L-39 didn't have any release date http://prntscr.com/8kdeku But inside the module page shows September. It was the same before ? http://prntscr.com/8kde8d Maybe wasn't a joke ? :megalol:

Well.. complaining is the only we can do if there is another delay, but is something natural.. Anyways, as I said before, DCS is the only current military simulator ( and a lot best simulator than prepar3d which is a mainly a civil simulator ) so even we get angry and some people say that ED guys don't act in a professional way, when the new version is released all of us return and buy all the modules they sell.. I was angry with the past year delay, but still buying modules and waiting.. is the only we can do.
-
Don't know if it is going to happen, but for sure more of us are going to fall of the chair when found the release notice.
-
IMHO there isn't any alternative to DCS World, so for much we complain it doesn't matter, nobody is going anywhere to play with another sim. At least most part of the people who post here owns or have preordered all the modules, and in my particular case, if I'm not playing DCS I'm on other games, but not another sims, because the only about military is this one, and even with Prepar3d I prefer to take a ride with any plane on DCS because the flight models.. And about hassling users with the bugs, who cares ? is a beta, a lot of developers do it with their games, and the people don't care, because that's why the betas are for.. if somebody found the beta without the sufficient level to be playable it ever can play with the normal version. That's my opinion, a opinion of a man who is desperate to get the 1.5.. :joystick: :megalol:

One thing I don't understand about the ED policies is the use of the beta branch like if it was the normal one. Actually we have a normal very close to the beta one, and from my point of view that should be totally different. I didn't remember when was the last time I used the normal version, that's because the beta version is very very stable. In other games, the betas have a lot more content that the normal versions, because that's the point, to test and find bugs in order to fix them in the normal version. What can happen if ED release 1.5 in the beta branch with the actual state ? If it runs mainly well we can enjoy it and report bugs, and if it runs bad or have breaking bugs that not allow to play to some people we simply can run the normal version and continue flying like nothing happens. I think this is better to get another delay.. they simply can warning about it is not ready yet and that we need to deal with some bugs, and we simply can decide what to do. Because is very frustrating ( sure for ED too ) to get delay after delay through years..

No, in fact the preload of the map depends how the engine handle it, I remember when in Arma 2 when I not own an SSD disk yet, I have a lot of RAM free, but the engine only put in memory a little part of the map, textures and models each time, so it must read all the time from the Hdd destroying the performance of the game. I solved that with creating a Ramdisk, using my Ram to create a virtual SSD, but today the most part of us have SSD's so we don't have this problem. The only problem is when we fill all the RAM, but didn't know how much RAM DCS uses, should take a look the next time I run it. Let me know how it works mate
