I can't see a thing in there. If you press Print Screen button, it'll automaticaly save a screenshot in C:\Users\profile_name\Saved Games\DCS\ScreenShots ;)

Well the main reason I posted this question is that I saw a lot of "I don't want to fly civilian a/c in DCS" posts here and although I don't mind it, C and ZA are basically the same, only that ZA has weapons. So if they let people choose from two modules, I can imagine they would just buy ZA as there's not much to gain from buying C with it. So two-for-one does make more sense to me. :)
-
Ok then, let's wait for some news ;) There's not much left in 2014 so that should be fairly soon™

Good to know! I'm sure she's in good hands *sound of credit card waving* I have a question though. Would it be possible to clarify one of my previous posts? Although I guess ED don't want to tell yet...
-
We don't know as there wasn't any announcement about it. Only this info from the last year: That's all there is really.
-
Not implying anything, just straightening up the facts.

I agree with this. Considering how expensive the development of DCS modules is, I don't think they would risk their project getting shut down by original manufacturer just because they didn't secured permission beforehand. It can happen (and happened) to some small devs when they think they're small fish and nobody is going to bother. But ED is big, regular developer and not bunch of freelance amateurs or something.
-
I wonder how they're going to handle the release of C and ZA. I mean, they said they'll release C with ZA after, so is it going to be one price for two aircraft, or two separate modules? Because I can't imagine many people buying C, when they can buy basically the same aircraft only with weapon capabilities instead. We'll see.

Don't hold your breath though. If VEAO decide to make that Airbus flyable, it will take a couple of years just to develop that monster. There's a reason why there are no PMDG level Airbuses in FSX. It's just so goddamn hard to make a proper Airbus with all its systems functioning properly. It's a flying computer. FSLabs are doing one, but I think they were developing it for like 3+ years already and still not done :(

what aircraft should I purchase?
GeorgeLKMT replied to canadabear07's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
If you're looking for less complicated aircraft, get FC3, seriously. It's worth whole as a package and it's currently on sale for 16 bucks! ;) Su-25 vs F-15C is kinda tough comparison, as one is ground pounder and other one dedicated A2A fighter. -
I'll give you a tip: Go to config folder, open graphics.lua and find these lines: ScreenshotQuality = 90; ScreenshotExt = "jpg"; Change the first entry to 100 and you can even change the extension to BMP or PNG. Your screens will be bigger, but much better quality, which is importnant if you like to do postproduction on them. Photoshoping JPGs is madness and compression on those MiG screenies is just horrible. ;)

Missing textures

...ED Testers Team... :music_whistling: But yeah, I hope that means that my 560Ti won't have any problems running EDGE. Can't be worse than now, huh? ;)

buying new pc, how many cores will edge suport ?
GeorgeLKMT replied to LarryElder's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
For games, usually clock speed>number of cores. I would suggest you buying i5 instead (unless your really really need that hyperthreading for something else) and buying better card with money you save on CPU. Or SSD or something... Performance boost then will be much better than with i7, especially if you overclock. HT is not going to make a difference, a little bit more cache that i7 has neither. ;) -
In game development, that's like tommorow :P

Good thing we're flying in the virtual world and can paint any scheme on any aircraft ;) A little bit of fiction never hurts. :) /by the way, this doesn't mean I'm going to make it :D

I'm surprised and disappointed in license.
GeorgeLKMT replied to Alladyn's topic in DCS: P-51D Mustang
Don't worry, we all have the same info in there as you do, saying "Time period: 30 days". ;) What you bought is yours forever, you won't need to reactivate or buy anything after a month. -
There was a discussion about that already in the L-39 thread. I guess we're just not in position to judge what's fair or unfair or how this whole situation will develop. Time will tell. One way or another, we're getting L-39.
-
According to available information here, the two projects are not related.
-
Sweet jesus... L-39 in 2014 by ED? Am I dreaming? Somebody pinch me please.
-
Actually, it has more ground clearance than 737 I believe :P
-
Yup. ;) Look how cute she is:

Mhm yeah, I know some of these words
