Do you mean while flying a mission?

I am using 4 with the proclip and it works perfectly. I can't imagine how 5 could be an improvement.

After you have learned the basics of the TAD, TGP and weapons it will go a bit faster if you can fly with some real people on a multiplayer server using Teamspeak that are willing to show you the ropes. You will probably need to learn the Thrustmaster Warthog lingo and convert the commands to keystrokes so you know what functions they represent before you can set up your Saitek profile to duplicate those functions.

I am using VoiceAttack and it's been a breeze to set up for all radio commands as well as accessing the kneeboard, flipping pages automatically and stopping when the right page appears, F10 map and mission briefing.

Try doing a DCS World repair. Then re-name your Saved Games DCS folder to DCS1. Fly a mission to see if that works.

In an effort to reproduce an accurate cockpit view in the A-10C I move my seat up so I am viewing the pit to a higher angle than default and to a position I believe to be what a real pilot would see. However, the HUD text also moves to a position that is too high. What I want to do is modify a lua number to lower the text in the HUD so it is properly aligned after moving my seat up but I haven't been able to find the lua file to accomplish this. Anyone know how to do this?

A very cool thing to use is VoiceAttack. When I am in the pit I just say "airport" to open my kneeboard. I say "go" and it begins to flip the pages one at a time every 1 and a half seconds. when I see the page I want I say "stop". I say "airport" again to close the kneeboard. It's also quite handy for all of the radio commands. One can also use THIS MOD to customize the kneeboard content.

If you open DCS Options/Controls/ and do not see your X52 listed there you will probably need to re-install your drivers.

After reading your post I decided to try VoiceAttack and after flying the A-10C for almost 2 years without it I feel like a complete idiot for not trying it before. It's awesome and works perfectly. The possibilities are endless. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Thanks for posting this thread.

When I have a skin placed in the liveries folder on both my server pc and client pc, and the skin has been selected in the mission, and my buddy also has the skin installed on his pc, we both see the skin on each other's plane as well as our own.

Are the liveries installed on the server and correct paint schemes selected for the mission?

Change the file extension from trk to miz, bring it into the ME, change skins, save, then change back to trk and reinsert file into track folder.

Looking forward to future customers can be invigorating while caring for existing customers can quickly become a burdensome necessity. It's just human nature IMO and to expect otherwise would be harboring an unrealistic expectation, which usually leads to disappointment, which is what this thread is all about.

I would imagine that ED is focused on future customers rather than addressing issues brought up by those who have already spent their money.

OK....your file works perfectly but when I do what I have thought was exactly what you have done I get the same bogus results. There must be something you are doing that I have missed and I'd love to know what it is because I think I may be able to resolve similar issues with other missions involving AI aircraft and their failed tasking. If you may consider it please send me a PM with the exact steps you took from the moment you loaded the original to the ME. If not I understand and am grateful to at least have a working version of this mission. Thanks for taking the time to look into this.

Were there any other parameters that you had to set after selecting bombing? Can you attach your corrected miz file so I can have a look at it and try it? This stuff makes me cry out of both eyes :cry_2:

I got a fresh install of the mission and only made the change you suggested, then saved the mission with a new name but I got the same results and was unable to duplicate your solution.

Your file runs fine on my desktop but fails on my server so I have determined that the problem lies with my server PC. I will have to sort that out on my own. Sorry to be a pain in the rumpus and thanks again for your help.

I just did exactly what you did and here's what is always happening. When the F117s reach waypoint 1 they turn and proceed to waypoint 2 without executing the command to ATTACK MAP OBJECT. This doesn't happen when I run the mission in SP mode.

I just opened a fresh install, moved the start time back from 6:05 to 5:45, cycled through waypoints and back again, resaved and got the same problem. Do you need to rename the file before resaving? What am I missing here? Tell me step by step what you did and let me see if I can reproduce the solution.
