  1. try looking for the profiler in start/all programs/smart technology and pinning it to taskbar.
  2. Bill, check your PMs.
  3. The hogs ain't dead yet. They are sending them to put a case of the whoop ass on ISIS. Click HERE
  4. Save your money. Keep in mind that after a voice track has been created for a mission the next thing to do is to modify the voice so it sounds like it is coming through a radio. That means eliminating frequencies and causing an overall deterioration of the original track. Then you add static on top of that. My point is, why be concerned with the quality when you plan on modifying it anyway? I use the cheapest mic money can't buy for voice overs and after modification and added sound effects I doubt that anyone would know how much I had spent. I also use a free program called Audacity for editing and it works just fine. PM me for a link to a sound effects package that you may find useful.
  5. I am glad to see you found a solution and commend you for posting it for the benefit of others.
  6. Something else you may try is going to your saved games/DCS/Config/input/Module? and deleting the TrackIR folder. Another option is to re-name the saved games DCS folder DCS1. Then open a mission to see if it solves the problem. If not, delete the newly created DCS folder and re-name DCS1 back to DCS. That will return all to where you started.
  7. Just for kicks try opening the TS window and selecting settings/options/hotkeys. Look for a drop down menu at lower right corner and select keyboard and mouse only. Sometime this solves key mapping issues.
  8. Are you also using Teamspeak?
  9. It works fine with the APC M1025
  10. I think this feature was added for CA in the 1.2.8 update but not modeled for the predator as yet. I have never been able to get laser or IR pointer designation to work with the predator.
  11. On the server computer go to your DCS OPTIONS/GAMEPLAY page and uncheck the box next to the text USE THESE OPTIONS FOR ALL MISSIONS. That way the only options available when you host a mission are those that have been selected for the mission in the mission edtor. That assures that everyone involved will have exactly the same options available regardless of what they have chosen in their individual options settings.
  12. What has become as significant for me about adjusting the cockpit view to a more realistic position is not only how the cockpit appears, but how it also changes the way everything outside of the cockpit looks as well. I'm like you, I'll never go back to the DCS default view. is another example of what a real A10 pilot sees.
  13. I think if you view the airfields on the F10 map there will be something that indicates if an airfield is red, blue or neutral. You should be able to rearm at blue or neutral airfields assuming you are flying with the blue coalition.
  14. Click my sig for something that may be of interest. Please read the Sitrep page for details.
  15. I have already created what I believe to be a more realistic F1 view using the camera and have been able to resize the text as needed but I still need to resize the gun reticle and CCRP,CCIP pipers so that all of the HUD components are proportional but I have not been successful in finding the lua file and/or line to edit to accomplish this. Thanks for your suggestion.
  16. Thanks but that allows for an increase or decrease of the HUD text only. What I am looking for is a line to modify that has the same effect on the reticles and pipers.
  17. Peter, Do you know how to decrease the size of the weapons pipers and reticles for the A-10C HUD?
  18. I just installed this today and am thrilled with it. Needless to say it's very appropriate for new missions reflecting current events. I think using the medium scenes option (fewer trees) with no clouds make it look more realistic. Thanks for the time it took to create this one.
  19. Click my sig for something that may be of interest depending on where you live.
  20. I agree, it's a pain and I think I'll just delete that sound file and be done with it.
  21. I am another that has seen the default view as being inconsistant with what a real A10- pilot's would be and haven't yet figured out how to get the HUD text size adjusted accordingly after getting my seat position adjusted. What I don't understand is if you decrease the number in line 5 of the definitions lua file to increase the size of the text, why doesn't the text size decrease when you raise the same number above the default 73.5? It's as though it is capped at 73.5 regardless of what changes I make above that.
  22. At 24 inches away I think it will be difficult to get good results. HERE is a solution that worked for a friend with a similar problem that allowed the camera to be closer without obstructing the view.
  23. If you right click the Nvidia icon in your taskbar and select GForce Experience/Shadow Play you can turn it on. Then while viewing tracks in DCS World you can activate the recorder using ALT+F9 for whatever segments of the track you want to capture. They will be saved in your "my videos" folder and then can be accessed using a movie editing software program. I use windows movie maker. It works fine with DCS world tracks.
  24. Just a suggestion.....it doesn't seem to matter if VoiceAttack recognizes what you say correctly or not. The only thing that matters is if it responds to what you say by activating the proper keystrokes assigned. If I say butter and it thinks I said mother, no problem, as long as it activates the keystroke accordingly.
