After doing a complete reinstall of DCS World I am a little nervous about trying this again. When you referred to "Fixed a minor bug due to a change in the scripting engine" Can you be more specific? The only thing I am concerned about is full functionality with existing MP missions. Is there any reason to install the new version for that?

You were right and I apologize for jumping to conclusions. I did a complete reinstall of DCS World and after reconfiguring everything I installed your mod again and everything is working fine. It's unfortunate that we have to go through this monkey business with every update but I guess it's just the nature of the beast.

1.2.9 caused me much grief mainly due to mods that I had installed. I also tried to install the latest version of slmod so I'm not sure exactly what was causing the trouble. Rather than trying to trouble shoot each potential cause I did a complete reinstall of DCS and modules and everything seems to be OK now. I was probably overdue for a good house cleaning anyway.

Updated to 1.2.9 as well as version 5.33 of this mod but I have missing textures for A-10C from cockpit view. I see water where there should be wings. I did a DCS repair but same results. I reinstalled 5.33 after repair but still have missing textures. No other mods installed with this 1.2.9 update. Is there a way to completely remove this mod? Apparently a DCS repair won't remove this mod and I sure would hate to think I have to do a complete new DCS install to solve this issue.

Yes, me too. I installed the new version and got errors on server computer that crashed the server. I uninstalled and reinstalled the previous version and although the server PC seems to be working again my client PC gets connection interrupted when I try to join any mission in the MP menu.

Can anyone tell me what visual recon mode is. There is no mention of it in the user manual. When I turn it on I get a red cross below the hud but I have no idea what it's for.

I use a track ball that has 2 small buttons next to each large button rather than a wheel and they work to zoom in and out of the ME map.

I hosted your latest mission today and after about an hour or so the server crashed. The Combined Ops Group tried hosting the same mission several days ago on their new dedicated server with the same results. Also, JTAC worked fine for the first A10 tasking but stalled before dialog was finished for the second tasking. It looks like a cool mission but there seems to be a few bugs to squash.

Try renaming your saved games/DCS World folder to DCS1. Fly a mission and see what happens. It will create a new DCS folder. If it doesn't solve the problem you can always go back, delete the new folder and rename the original as DCS and everything will go back to where you started.

You might want to try renaming your saved games DCS folder to DCS1, then fly a mission. It will create a new saved games DCS folder. Sometimes that works to solve this type of problem. If it works, great. If not then you can always delete the new folder and rename the DCS1 folder to DCS and everything will be as it was.

are you using teamspeak?

THIS MISSION would be an example of an expansive coop mission that I think would attract those that want to fly with a purpose, using comms and actually doing things towards the goal of achieving a successful finish. What would be needed is someone that would be available to monitor the progress and refresh the mission as needed. As an example, if people knew in advance that the mission would refresh every 3 hours, they could see from the MP server list exactly when that would be and plan accordingly. If the mission had been running for 2 hours they may choose to wait for the next start time. Maybe there's an slmod function that would re-start the mission automatically. An announcement could me made here in the forum along with an attached briefing in PDF format that people could read in advance. This would be one way to offer an alternative to what has been available on the 24/7 open servers.
