  1. Version 2.68 is released, which adds the F-15E Strike Eagle. The profile is still a WIP, so any suggestions are welcomed. EDIT: For the WSO profile, be sure to add Joy_Btn25 and Joy_Btn26 as modifiers.
  2. Version 2.68 was just released into closed beta testing. I'll give it a long weekend for regression testing, then release to the public. Again, I just want to make sure that I didn't break the hornet. I tested a number of configurations, but I can't test them all. Here's a tease of the kind of mapping you can expect from my "bare bones" profile: Enjoy the weekend! I'll release when I get back, showstopper bugs notwithstanding.
  3. I have mine set to the boat switch, where BSF is the right controller and BSB is the left controller. Just assign those buttons as modifiers for the WSO (you want them to be regular buttons for the pilot) and you can use the same buttons as the front seat for either selected. The only catch is that for common functions (F1-F10, eject, the UFC if you have that mapped) need to be mapped to the same keys with the modifiers as well. Otherwise, they won't work when you have one of the modifiers enabled.
  4. Version 2.67 is out. It fixes the SA342 and fixes/greatly improves the A-4. I'm currently working 2.68 for the F-15E. I plan to release a bare-bones profile shortly, but since it shares code with the F/A-18 I want to make sure it's properly regression tested before I put it out for a public release.
  5. I do have the F-15E, I just can't promise anything right away. I'd say a literal two weeks is reasonable.
  6. Folks, Just to manage expectations, version 2.67 is in closed beta testing now and should be released shortly. However, 2.67 will not include the Strike Eagle. I probably won't get to the mudhen until after the first week of July. In the meantime, you'll be able to enjoy the completely redesigned A-4E profile!
  7. Folks, I know it's been a while since I posted, but the demands on my schedule are now less extreme than in recent past. I have updated the script for the SA342 and the A-4, and 2.67 is in beta testing now. Starting in July, I should be able to start addressing requested improvements.
  8. In VR, S1 (which normally activates George/Petrovich) is the VR Zoom command. For the AH-64, you need to use S3+S1 (long to enable George, short to disable). For the Mi-24, you need to use the SC button (the eraserhead on the throttle).
  9. Version 1.21 is up. I made some minor improvements and fixes, and also had to set the static MODEX to 400 to keep the red/blue flap colors intact with the DCS 2.8.4 updates.
  10. Version 1.21 is up. It updates the side numbers to DCS 2.8.4 standards.
  11. Version 1.21 is up for both skin packs. It updates the side numbers to DCS 2.8.4.
  12. That's true; they're the only bird in the squadron with that scheme (and modex), but I normally use dynamic numbering unless the format is way off just to allow for flexibility (e.g. if they want to run VFA-131 as 300 instead of 400). I'll figure it out!
  13. Also looks like we lost the ability to have separate colors for left and right flaps. That dorks up my VFA-131 CAG bird...
  14. Does this mean we no longer need to force 2 digits to get rid of leading zeroes for USMC modexes?
  15. Thanks, Whistler. You brought up a great point. @Mik75 you may also need to set your MFD Count to 0. The profile is designed with MFDs in mind, and it defaults to 2 in the hardware. Normally you use the Left MFD to enter profile selection mode.
  16. You need to hold S3+SPDB for two seconds to enter the profile selection mode. This mitigates the likelihood of inadvertently entering the mode while flying. S3+SPDB short will often change the brake type to your preference, depending on the aircraft/module selected. I highly recommend reading the Setup PDF that comes with CTS (you can find it under "References"), or at least the first 24 pages (don't worry; there are plenty of pictures so it's not a long read).
  17. There is a lot to it, and it may be a lot to chew at first. I recommend coming back to it after you get comfortable with DCS. Most of the settings you don't even need to mess with, so long as you configure your hardware correctly.
  18. You shouldn't have to do anything with the existing bindings. When you load the TARGET profile, it creates a virtual controller that identifies differently from the Warthog Stick and Warthog Throttle (and Cougar MFDs as well). The Warthog Stick and Throttle controllers should disappear while the virtual controller is active, deconflicting the virtual controller from the default controller settings. All existing diff.luas are loaded to the virtual controller. There is a chance that the Warthog controllers don't disappear when the virtual controller is active. There are some troubleshooting tips in the PDF manual for that. Finally, FWIW, my TARGET controller for the A-10C works almost identically as the default Warthog configuration, though due to limitations I couldn't do the persistent switches and need to use key commands instead. However, I made the throttle base switches even more useful, e.g. I use the fuel flow switches for master arm and gun arm as default, and fuel flow when holding down the pinkie button modifier.
  19. There was no place to put the sight select switch on the cougar, though I am open to suggestions. Unfortunately, I can't put it on H4 (CMS), as this uses a special routine for force trim. Perhaps H2 (TMS) for VR users.
  20. Be sure to set Joy_Btn30, 31 and 32 as modifiers for the Apache (and for that matter any module in DCS), and the rest should fall into place.
  21. 25th Bombardment Group (Reconnaissance) skin pack updated with link. My entry into the contest is now final. Mosquito FB Mk.VI Skin Pack: USAAF 25th Bombardment Group (Reconnaissance) (digitalcombatsimulator.com) Here's the original post:
