In F-14 i landed on the carrier but after catching the wire i suddenly blow up in flames. I wanted to watch the replay to see the reason. Maybe i smashed into a parking F-18 on the flightdeck. I positioned the camera on the flightdeck to see which wire i got and then i saw my F-14 landing 20 meters starboard to the carrier in the water!

I have installed the 2.2 Open Alpha and the 1.5.8 Open Beta and already updated to 2.5. Now the game is downloading 40+ GB!!! to install all the modules. I thought if i have installed 2.2 i save some download size? At least i download with ~2MB/sec (upload 1,5 MB/sec).

GTX 1060 released As the 1060 is official by now i am considering to get one of these, best price to value ratio and with decent OC possibility. Approx 180-190 % of the GTX 770 Power (40-50 % below 1070) and with 20% overclocking you pass that 200 % of the 770. And that for little over 300 EUR. Or a 1070 for 490 EUR and get around 260 % Performance? Hm...

unfortunately the whistles aka Jericho Trumpets were only mounted on the B models... :( But the D model is a much better plane, no to mention the cannons on the G model! Can't wait to try the plane in DCS quality! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junkers_Ju_87

I was very excited when IRIS announced an F-14D some time ago but then the forum here was deleted and now i think this project has been canceled. But thanks to Leatherneck we will finally get an F-14. The F-14 is the beauty queen of all airplanes in my opinion and the screens are just amazing. I thank you so much for the dream to fly an F-14 is alive again and in a much better fidelity than ever expected. Great job until now, so keep rocking Leathernecks! :thumbup:

But you should be able to choose it if you have backed, as soon as the page is online again. I will choose P-51 and D-9, as i have pledged $40. So i can at least fly the Mustang immediately!:joystick:

FW-190 was the first fighter with HOTAS design and quite comfortable cockpit and it looks sooo nice. So its the Dora for me!

Any updates on at which KS level you will get P-51 keys?

It would be much more comfortable, it takes a lot of time to install Black Shar 1 and it takes hard disk space. It's just annoying to install a game which you are not going to play. It can't be that hard to support us with new keys. And, of course, we can't play BS2 on steam...:cry:

It's not only a steam problem. It's really a pain in the ass with this update. I just set up a new system a few months ago. You have to install BS1 in order to install BS2 every time and you don't really need BS1 anymore. Why isn't there a possibility to switch the keys for BS1 + update with a new BS2 key?
