Very nice, would love one those...shame about the non-blinking master caution though. Is it just blinking that couldn't be done or no lighting at all in the master caution? Also, any idea of a price?

Not sure if I should ask this here or somewhere else, but it's more about CAS procedure and not so much the plane. I've seen video's, both from game and real life how pilots pop a few flares after having made a run on a position...just curious why that is, if you're not locked or being fired at?

Can completely relate to that, setting up my own little armouring workshop for the same purpose...not gonna try turning a huge profit from it, but I wanna make armour and will end up making more than I can use myself, so why not offer it for sale to people who can. More often than not, the fun of creating something is the most fun part anyway ^^ And it's great for those people who don't have the means to make stuff. And also, I would proberbly have gone with a hardcore simpit over a bike too if it were me ^^

I've been excited bout this ever since I first considerd starting a pit...but I must admit that I'm worried about the price as well. Would love to have a complete assortment of A-10 gauges...hopefully the prices will be "reasonable". That said, can't wait to see some progress on this.

Would it be possible to have a picture of them on the back, if they're not enclosed? to see the sizes and how you have them arranged etc?

I cant quite figure out what the steering dumper does exactly (I'm not technology minded, I'm a smith by trade, I hit stuff with hammers)...does it make the pedals "harder" to push or something completely else?

How many screens did you use for this? looks very awesome!

I really like that you can see all the parts, it looks very..mechanical...it's almost a shame to hide it away in a cockpit ^^

Mr. Slaw, they look absolutely amazing! Very neat design, looking forward to hear about your testing. Have you done something different with these from your 109's or is it mainly the look that's different? Also, is the space between the two pedals adjustable or fixed?

It's really a shame that such a short time in history will taint a symbol that has stood for so much more for such a long time. I really hope it an be reclaimed and go back to being socially acceptable...mainly because it's not the only symbol that have been used for some very bad things that are still used today. It may take a long time though. Here's another example I quite like...cause it's close to home ^^

Yes...for you...it can't be that hard to understand that not everyone is crazy about the rift or any VR? For me the rift wouldn't increase immersion, I need to flick switches and have tactile inputs to feel really immersed. It's not about the rift being "the new stuff" and triple screens, switched etc are the old stuff...it's two different ways of doing it. To me the rift is like 3D in movies...it's a gimmick that won't let me enjoy the game more. Saying he should get a rift with the pit he's working on kinda shows that you haven't grasped what he's doing and is in no way helpfull to what he's going for. May have been a bit too harsh, but so is saying if you aren't playing DCS with the rift, you aren't playing DCS (from another thread, I know). Just my 2 cents.

Wow that is looking very nice indeed! I'm very interested in your stick extension, care to talk a bit about how you made it? looks like it's made up of sections of pipe, how is the spring in the base holding up to that? And much envy on your helmet and mask, very nice!

Right, got a good listen in and it seems very nice, did a good job production wise. Been listening to alot of different podcasts through the years and I would say this is one of the better first episode I've heard, quality wise. Also, the comercial was funny as heck ^^ And even though it wasn't meant as a recruitment tool for the Squadron, I still really wish I could join up...you made a good case for it at least ^^

Think I just found the perfect thing to listen to while looking at simpits ^^

I got it working, thanks alot for your replies. Turns out it had mapped the rudder to some axis on my joystick even though it isn't a twist stick.
