  1. You have to tick the option in DCS, then mbucchia works. With the option in DCS off it bypasses mbucchia.
  2. I get a big black block even when I can actually see the wings of the aircraft I'm looking at !!!
  3. Ahh ok so looks like you have to tick the option in DCS, and then it uses mbucchia QV. I'd thought it was a separate implementation and should leave the DCS one off.
  4. Figured it might be worth me posting this here as well as the patch discussion thread where it might get lost. I'm on the new patch with QV added to DCS settings, but it's not checked. However my mbucchia QV is being bypassed: Do I need to do something to get it to not be bypassed? Or do I need to tick the DCS option, which then uses mbucchia QV?
  5. why would it be bypassed if the DCS option is off?
  6. I've not got QV turned on but my mbuccia QV doesn't seem to be working, even though DCS settings says the layer for it is there. Have the new spotting dots on and see nasty black squares in the middle of aircraft even after I can see the wings.
  7. Might be the texture drop to medium that's the important one? There's another thread saying the cockpit textures are massive and dropping to medium helped for now.
  8. Not sure what to say mate. I must have 20? modules, and all of them have proper English text in the Action column The OP's screenshot just shows variable names, compared with Nealius's screenshot that has proper text. My original comment was aimed at how odd the OP's screenshot looked. If you meant the English text is sometimes misleading, well I can agree with you there
  9. Yes. Mine always have proper names for each function. Would be virtually impossible to bind everything if they didn't. Still away so not installed the Chinook yet though.
  10. Why don't the actions have proper names??
  11. Typical I'm on holiday abroad until the end of next week Enjoy everyone!
  12. Hah yeah and there's still so much improvement to be made. Waiting for 5090, which will mean new PC basically, and then it'll be time for a headset upgrade
  13. Finally decided to try the AGM-84H last night. Was on our private MP server. Every time I fired one, while to me I could track/watch the missile and it would correctly hit it's intended targets, the other players on the server would see it going somewhere completely different! They'd see the target eventually blow up but to them the missile was still there and heading out to see or whatever. Is this a known issue? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
  14. I just stopped trying to force it. Let the game render as fast as it can. I thought throttling to 72 would help performance but it just seems to make it stutter for me.
  15. FWIW I'm no longer seeing the crazy large black square, but instead air targets (e.g. Mig-29) are very small, hard to see dots at around 22nm (I'd need to know where to look for them), and get pretty obvious at around 15nm. This is against blue sky/cloud. Against the ground as a backdrop it would be much harder as I'd expect. I'm using a Quest3 and MSAA 2x.
  16. Ahh I bought CA years ago so not looked at the store page for it for a looooooooong time. Thanks!
  17. Finally figured I'd give Combined Arms a go in VR, and well it seems pretty broken..... Is this my issue somewhere?
  18. If any of you are locking the game FPS to your HMD refresh rate (either in openXR toolkit or using the DCS option in settings) I suggest don't doing that. Once I stopped trying to force the game to 72fps all my stuttering went away.
  19. Spotted this comment from Wags on youtube
  20. It's iconic, and it's something different to all the jets and attack choppers I normally fly. I really hope ED do logistics well and it becomes a staple feature of missions without lots of 3rd party scripts.
  21. As QuiGon says you need a bunch of vehicles/buildings at a FARP to be able to rearm, refuel, communicate with it over radio etc. There's also a max distance they can be from your aircraft.
  22. I thought he said he had, but will check
  23. Nope doesn't seem to be able to slot into modules he has
  24. My friends and I use a mission that I created for general practice. After the last update I changed it to use the dynamic slotting system - made the existing aircraft templates and hid them with a password. Myself and Friend 1 can slot fine with no issues. But Friend 2 seems to have trouble. He tries to use the dynamic slots but just ends up in 3rd person view hovering over a random airfield. Sometimes the password slots don't work for him either. He ends up having to slot into an aircraft on a carrier we have on the map. Seems really weird that he'd be the only one affected?
