  1. Curious, are there helicopters and cargo in the missions? On the VA, we have found and had confirmed a bug where if the helicopter crashes before picking up its assigned cargo, the server will dump almost all(if not all) clients on the server.
  2. Also be aware, the speed setting in the ME is the A/C true speed, not indicated, so you may be setting it to fast. If you want formation practice, I would suggest using one of the tankers. They usually turn a lot less aggressively then any other a/c and will be easier to follow through turns. There are the aerobatic turns which give you more control, but they are an even bigger hassle to set up well.
  3. Few more from one of the AG51 pilots:
  4. Axis & Allies DCS World Style! Week 4 Status Report Counter Strike The skies finally cleared enough for both sides to return to action. Allies attacked first with an early dawn raid intending to catch the Axis off guard. There was a momentary setback as while the B17’s were getting in the air, 2 of them just exploded and were lost. Are they using some experimental fuel? Or another case of Sabotage? Either way, the early raid apparently worked as Axis was only able to get limited numbers of fighters in the air. Axis still put up a good defense, downing 2 of the B17’s and turning a couple more away. The Allies drove on in though in a triple waved attack that heavily damaged the Axis industrial center and airfield. A couple Axis fighters were damaged in the attack and 1 was lost, colliding with a bomber. Several Allied fighters were lost in the attack as well. Later in the day, the Axis mounted their counterattack. *It was then we found out that several Axis pilots were unfit for flight duty due to excessive celebrations. Though short of pilots, they pressed the attack in a single wave towards the Allied industrial complex. On the way, they were met by Allied Mustangs. Try as they might, the Allies were not able to deter the bombers, which scored heavy damage on their target. Several bombers were shot down while retreating, but the damage had already been done. The Allies did pull off a sneak attack, sending 2 Mustangs to attack a brand new industrial center the Axis were building. The attack did some light damage to the area, though it could have been much worse. The battle presses on as both are reeling from devastating attacks to each other's industrial centers. Production has slowed greatly for both sides and now the Axis maintenance capability has been hit hard. Will they be able to recover like the Allies have? Stay tuned to find out! *(Actually, real world commitments kept several pilots from participating this week) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1n-bjKnWoNERtpADwhGrw9JY0y9vVSCEnB8MqJWA9L8Y Stay tuned for media coverage...
  5. We can get started with as few as 4 per side and work up to a max of 8 per side due to server load/balance issues. More then that can be on the team, but for now, max of 8 flying positions per side.
  6. Not sure about permission, but the skins are mostly controlled by the missions themselves. There is a way to change a skin from what its is to what you want it to be. Only you will see the change, everyone else will see it normally. Problem with custom skins on MP servers is everyone needs to have it in order to see it. Doesnt stop us from using them on the Virtual Aerobatics server though. We have many great skins on there and if the people connecting are interested, they can install them and see them. If not, they see a default skin.
  7. No worries, only Tiger showed up so far so you didn't miss anything. Will have to figure out how to generate more interest in the Euro time slot. Would Sunday be any better?
  8. Clarification, bug seems to only happen in MP with clients, server unaffected. Attached is test mission, crash logs and track. Huey Cargo Crash logs.rar
  9. I will be available and have a test campaign mission up and running again today,July 16, at 1800 UTC to try and set up teams and to answer questions about the campaign. Remember, we can not officially start till teams are set, leaders picked and missions created, Remember, each side designs their own mission and plans what they want to do. Be sure to have the Master Campaign mod (JSGME ready) installed so you can see the B17, Ju88 and WWII ground vehicles. https://www.dropbox.com/s/inzl1gcp31...20Mod.rar?dl=0 We will meet on a private TS at address: 73.24.143.155 See you there! We will be on the latest version: 1.5.4.54855
  10. This one should be reproducible. Can't atm, but will make a mission with a single huey and cargo. It happens when you use the radio to select the cargo, but then crash the helicopter before picking it up. On the VA server, not only will the client that was trying to pick up the cargo crash out of the game, it will also cause a client kick of practically everyone on the server, though interestingly enough, the server stays up. We have since removed all the cargo from the VA server.
  11. Axis & Allies DCS World Style! Week 3 Status Report Sabotage!?! Some serious storms rolled through the area, grounding all the aircraft. So both sides were busy licking their wounds and patching up damaged aircraft. Yet, even with no aircraft flying, the axis suffered some setbacks as there was a terrible accident at one of their factories. A horrendous explosion leveled the place. Also, a Bf109 at the airfield was apparently struck by lightning as it also just exploded. No other aircraft were reported as damaged. Some speculate sabotage, but with the weather and the chaos of war, who’s to say… (With it being a no flying turn due to the weather, we decided to advance this turn so that the next saturday, will be week 4, people can still fly as scheduled. Aircraft are repaired, resource points spent and mission cards played.) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1n-bjKnWoNERtpADwhGrw9JY0y9vVSCEnB8MqJWA9L8Y/edit#gid=0
  12. Crash logs from the Virtual Aerobatic Server. Undetermined cause. https://www.dropbox.com/s/mk5fzb4h5d3t30m/Logs%2013%20Jul%202016.rar?dl=0
  13. Looks like we could still use some Axis pilots for the 10PM eastern timeframe. A couple have on and off again schedules for Saturday participation and it would be a shame if they had to go in shorthanded. If you are interested, please let me know and we will get you setup! /Salute
  14. That's a slippery slope. Where do you stop next? restriction to a certain HOTAS because someone has an advantage due to number of buttons for easy access? CPU/Video card combo because we all know better framerates are at an advantage? In any light, all uncontrollable aspects of MP servers. Good luck sorting out that issue.
  15. Just curious as I have not gotten VR yet, but what is the need to have it exclusive to VR users, and how could you control it if you do? Not against it, just trying to figure out why you would need one.
  16. Do you have a mod that adds a Farp? or any other object? That Manifest file is like an inventory system for DCS and if an object is added in the mods/tech folders, will modify it, causing IC to fail. You can try moving the mod to the Saved games/dcs folder structure (maintain same structure) and that should work for only adding a custom object into DCS. If not, will need to remove it for IC servers.
  17. I had the same issue, though mine would not clear that way. I had set Gear up/down to the Warthog's flap switch, once I cleared that, the conflict went away and then I could set things as I wish with the new control assignments (Toggle Flaps up/dn).
  18. We are looking into starting a 2nd campaign that is Euro time friendly. See this thread here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=169782&page=2
  19. News from week 2: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=170071
  20. Only load them when you need them, My guess is it will be pretty rare to find a server running those mods, and if they are, they can't have IC on so.....

  22. Only a few showed up for the 1800 UTC time slot on Saturday. I will continue to host a meet and greet at that time every Saturday until we either have enough people to start another campaign, or it becomes evident another time slot/day is required. If you are interested, meet with me on Saturday's at 1800 UTC and I will answer questions and get you setup on a team. The North American time slot of 10PM Eastern was full for week 2, but if you are still interested and don't mind being a standby incase someone else can't make it, I am sure the commanders will welcome you with open arms. 23. Axis & Allies DCS World Style! Week 2 Status Report The Action intensifies!!! Axis struck first with a dual pronged attack, apparently in an attempt to split the enemy forces. A majority of their bombers were sent to the allied industrial center. The axis fighters did a good job at keeping the allies from interfering with the bombers, but the flak was thick. Only a few bombers made it through and yet significant damage was still inflicted. The 2nd wave was directed toward the allied airfield. After last week’s devastating attack, looks like they were trying to keep the allies pinned down. The flak again did a good job protecting the field, but a couple bombers still made it through and did some damage to aircraft still on the ground. The allies struck back with a high altitude, dusk raid. Half of their bombers towards the axis airfield and the other half to the industrial center. Apparently the bombers suffered early losses due to a formation accident and two of the allied fighters had to return to base for unknown reasons. Still they pushed on using one of their fighters in a feint attack that at least momentarily diverted some of the axis defenses. The axis fighters quickly recognized the diversion and soon found the bombers incoming from the north via the high contrails. The allies tried to defend the bombers, but the axis fighters were relentless and successful in shooting down a couple and diverting several others. A handful still got through and were able to do some light damage to both the airfield and industrial center. It is evident the axis have a bit more experience in their craft. The allies will need good teamwork and some solid strategies for them to overcome their current situation. What was remarkable from the allies was their ability to repair so many aircraft after their airfield was hit as bad as it was. I am sure the Commander bought all those maintenance folks a beer for a job well done. Just wondering if they can keep up the effort, it looks like they won’t get much rest. Stayed tuned for media coverage......... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1n-bjKnWoNERtpADwhGrw9JY0y9vVSCEnB8MqJWA9L8Y/edit#gid=0
