@CrashO That's exactly what I mean yes. I think this can be resolved by running classes or at least get documentation or SOPs which explain how to use to vocal cords.

How do people think about pulling communications skills to a higher level? There are times on SRS that comms are really good and brevity gets used correctly. However more often than not there are people simply having a chat or having no clue what they're talking about on the net. This can really be an immersion killer to the people looking to fly sorties in a realistic environment. I do really understand that some people that are just getting into it are still having trouble with figuring out what to say and when. I'd be more than happy to help those people out with improving their radio skills. I've already been teaching radio communications on Arma 3 for RTO and JTAC roles, I could easily adapt those classes to an aviation standpoint to help you out.

Ok, I've finally decided to make a thread for this issue. Ever since DCS 1.5 was first released I have been getting an incresing amount of lag spikes and ping timeout. Every time I would just try to get back in the game a couple of times untill I got so pissed off I stopped playing for multiple weeks. The game overall feels pretty smooth it just random spikes as if the game was having difficulty loading in assets. Resulting in me crashing into mountains, planes, buildings and what not. Could anyone point me in the direction of what the problem could be? Could it be a misconfiguration? I already tried repairing/ updating my installation multiple times.

I haven't tried it but I can imagine this would be very laggy. If it even manages to start up.

Flying Fox has been released recently. I recommend you to keep your old installation because this update broke the tutorials and the Fire Arc.

You can leave the server unpassworded but with some reserved slots for community members. That way you keep the player base up and still have room for your own members. Maybe you get less people on TS, but personally i don't really like going on different TS servers as i am always on the TS from the community i'm in and talk there (e.x. when i'm playing with friends there) or i just want to play DCS with some music and don't have to worry about talking or anything. Think about it.

Yes the default controls are configured but when i try to move my view it moves a little bit and instantly locks itself to the center of the screen again. As for deleting the control file, I'll try that when i've got time for that later this week. Will report back if it works or not.

Hey guys, Recently bought FC3. But i can't seem to move my view inside the cockpit be it using the numpad or the mouse, neither works. Just wondering if anyone else has expierenced this and/or knows a fix.

He put his HUD to standby mode just above the IFFCC switch and next to the HUD day/night mode switch.

Uhm.. Yeah, that could have been it lol. We'll try if it happens again, see if it works.

Sometimes at random the engines of the SU-25T won't start. Don't know hiw to reproduce this. Happens to a friend of mine as well.
