I don´t understand, why it is a crusade? And how people can think they are unrealistic? You only have to watch some real life videos to see the scraches all over the canopy on real aircraft. Some examples: Canopy scratches More canopy scratches Aaaand at min 2:15....Canopy scratches!!!

In wich way they where unrealistic? Real aircraft have them, I would like to have them back, at least as an optional featurette, they added a lot of realism, now its like there is no glass between you and the exterior.

The problem is when will that happen, can be in 2 or 3 months or a year and a half, my advice is to keep the 1.5, since Nevada can become "boring" very soon, you can´t do realistic combat missions there. So until there is more info about 2.5 and when it will be ready, I would´t remove the 1.5 for now. :thumbup:

This. I won´t pay more than 70$, carrier ops included. If not, I just wait for a sale.

The worst thing about this simulator right now, apart from the two different versions and all the alpha things, is that you have to be very careful when choosing what modules you buy, because most of them are made by 3rd parties, and their levels of quality are very different, actually very few of them are even finished, even after years of being released, so before you buy, do a research (web, youtube, buyers opinions) of every module you want to not have unpleasant surprises. I think most of this problems will be solved when 2.5 arrives at last, things will evolve a lot faster and with less trouble. The possitive thing, this is the best military simulator BY FAR, it has a great present and even a greater future, it evolves slowly, but solid, we will be enjoying it for years to come.

Of course not mate, the new Caucasus shoud be the number one priority, mainly because Nevada (wich is a great map) can only be used as a test range or just for doing some free flight, and Normandy is designed for completely different planes and timeline, without the Caucasus, the Hornet is almost useless as a weapon plataform or just use it to perform combat missions. Not to mention the HUGE advantage of finally have all the assets under one product. I really hope 2.5 to be released before the Hornet, and I think it will, but will it be this year? I´m not so sure :(

It doesn´t mean anything, they said the same thing last year. I´m sure this is only a hope, not even an estimate. Keep buying alphas, and you will get only alphas, that´s the problem with this sim. I can count with the fingers of one hand the modules that are completely finished, even within years of being released. And before filling me with negatives (I got like -80 just in one post for telling the truth lol), tell me first where I am telling a lie.

No more alphas, please. Just release it when its truly ready, not half done.

Well, when ED tells you things like 2.5 will come at end of last year, and it doesn´t, it´s easy to have some expectations:music_whistling:

I also think that the Caucasus map should be a priority above any module or terrain, not just because its very old and basic compared with Nevada or Normandy, but because it´s incomprehensible that this simulator needs different installers for different maps and is not unified in one product, it´s a mess and the main reason I didn´t buy Nevada or Normandy jet.

ED have people working back on the Caucasus map already, afer Normandy is finished, they will have even more. This is from a Wags video he made two weeks ago.

Hmm I made LOOOOONGG tiem ago a skin for the flanker...but it doesn´t have the right quality for me. I was soo noob:P. BTW as you can see it was an unfinished work:doh:. I made an angolan and other rare flanker too.
