  1. 2 All Mi-8 Pilots Let's make daytime Mi-8 VFR/IFR (SAR Pilots competition). Flight leg 30 NM (50 km). - Engine Start at Kutaisi (UGKO). - Embarking 5 men SAR team: SAR Team will find your Helicopter and embarked automatically. When ALL SAR Team will be on-board you will have F7 menu! - After Embarking I will give LZ coordinates (LL) - (51) 41 22 18 N 042 33 21 E. You must find this LZ at the map (F10) and make VFR/IFR Flight Plan. - As soon as your Flight plan ready, inform all pilots - "Flight 51 departing WEST (EAST)", takeoff as helicopter and fly your Flight Plan. - Will be available External view F2 and F10 Map Only. - Find LZ and Disembark SAR Team, inform all Players via TS3 or Chat "Flight 51 Disembarking". In a same time all pilots will receive for 20 seconds text message "Flight 51 Disembarking" and GREEN smoke will appear at your parking place at Kutaisi airfield. - Fly back with maximum speed. - Land as helicopter at your parking place. This is Simple and Fast Flight. Just Show your Skills as a SAR Pilot. If somebody interested, just send me PM and I will start to register pilots. As soon as we have more than 3 pilots we will arrange time and start to Fly. I will make mission based on TOOTALL navigation network and set up HOST and TS3 server. You must have DCS World 1.2.8! P.S. We could use ORNGE skin. Will be good to make video for YouTube ))) Registered SAR pilots list: airwar - callsign "Tower" Cibit - callsign "Flight 51" Slazi - callsign "Flight 52" Zulumike - callsign "Flight 53" Gate-5 - callsign "Flight 54" alfredo_laredo - callsign "Flight 55" Rodd - callsign "Flight 56" thinkr - callsign "Flight 57"

  3. DCS World 1.2.8. (Up2), Mi-8MTV2 Embarking Overload 49 soldiers overload, full tanks. No any triggers, just Embarking (F7) menu. Watch how shock absorbers reacting to the loaded weight (2:03):thumbup::thumbup:
  4. 100% Confirm!!! Weight changes! With 50 soldiers on-board impossible take-off! See TRK. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2047142&postcount=13 P.S. MP doesn't have F7 menu for HOST and Client!
  5. Yes! Great option  Cibit, Did you notice the change in helicopter weight after Embarking?
  6. Mi-8MTV2, Embarking 5 different units (25 soldiers) at the airfield and Disembarking at the 5 different LZ. Player`s Helicopter does not have any navigation point. Only Infantry Units have Embarking/ Disembarking points. I recommend to set Embarking/Disembarking radius not less than 500 m. Use Radio Menu: => F7 Descent => F1 embarking => F1 (unit name). P.S. I am not sure, but it seems like helicopter getting extra weight after embarking troops.
  7. DCS+NTTR = FSX+ORBX  P.S. How about NTTR RW navigation network - VOR, NDB, ILS, ATC ?
  8. 2xKa-50 will be the best solution
  9. Hello Slazi! You have great 24/7 DCSW 1.2.7 TOOTALL mission server and you use TOOTALL Mission v3.2. This v3.2.mission was designed for DCSW 1.2.8 Mi-8MTV2 with functional ARC-9. That is why Mi-8 at your server doesn't have NDB navigation!!! TOOTALL mission v3.1 for DCSW 1.2.7: http://www.mediafire.com/download/cg3n5sb13m2jmlc/TTv31.zip - full Mission file

  11. I like this type of IFR flying! Very good! Thank you for mission and track!
  12. This is small BUG. How to fix it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...73&postcount=6
  13. Yes! Make any space. But remember, if you audio-file has 30 seconds duration your trigger (flag) must have the same duration.
  14. 2 All Enjoy mission and have a good time!:pilotfly:
  15. Audacity 2.0.3 I use this simple and free program - Audacity® is free, open source, cross-platform software for recording and editing sounds http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ Audacity 2.0.3 - unzip attached file and use  Audacity Tutorial 1: Basic - Audacity Tutorial 2: Audio Editing - Morse Code sounds - http://morsecode.scphillips.com/jtranslator.html
  16. Hello, Carl Buretor! I don't know too much about radio transmitting model (ED script) in DCS. Radio wave in DCS World has some kind of in-game digital model. I confirm, that in-game Signal Strength depends on NDBs power output, modulation (AM/FM), FRQ, aircraft receiver sensitivity (compere UH-1H and Mi-8MTV2), aircraft altitude, terrain, etc. In a reality you could hear NDB signal at a distance of up to 180 NM. From WiKi: NDBs are categorized by power output, with low power rated at less than 50 watts, medium from 50 W to 2,000 W and high being over 2,000 W. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-directional_beacon
  17. Flight Plan Form Flight Plan Form by Flyingfrog. Use filled Flight plans as an example.
  18. This is small BUG. How to fix it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2041673&postcount=6
  19. Yes, it's possible to add custom beacons with a vehicle in the editor, transmitting in a given frequency. But one very important issue!!! Previously it was possible to add only 5 (five) transmitting objects via ME. If you are adding Radiotransmition objects via CTTS, it is UNLIMITED!!!
  20. Client simply join the HOST. I will start TOOTALL Host (1.2.8 UP1) and you could check. P.S. Do not forget to power the radios!!! We have small BUG after Update 1!!! http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...73&postcount=6
