  1. Under training I could opt to downloaded training videos. In these I'm told that I can take manual control (and are supposed to) by pressing ESC key. This does not work. Pressing ESC just ends the lesson unlike in for example a P51D training lesson where I'm given a menu with different options. Although there I don't need it since I'm handled control anyway. But in FC3 I need it if I'm to do something myself.

  3. What ? Does not a detailed plane like the F86 Sabre have a manual ? How then are we supposed to learn to fly and fight with it ?
  4. I would like to hear how this plane compares to the P51D Mustang. With regard to for example 1) Learning step 2) How complicated it is and simulation depth 3) Documentation and tutorials and included missions and campaigns 4) How difficult it is to win in combat with it Looking forward to hear from people who have used both

  6. I'm considering FC3 or F15C standalone. First have I understood correctly that by getting only F15C standalone I will only miss the Georgia area apart from the other planes ? I might mention that I already have P51D Mustang and the A10-C. What is included with the planes in FC3 compared to the one I already have ? What about the learning step ? I find the two I have to be very difficult to use in combat. Does all of the planes have mission and training lessons like detailed planes ?
  7. No I got the impression that ready made profiles for each plane already exists so there would be no need to modify.
  8. When running the TIR software I find under titles one entry related to DCS and that is called DCS A10C. But when I went to Natural Points website I see listed under supported titles entry for the P51 Mustand and other planes and helos. I have the A10C and P51D. Why is only the specific A10C listed under titles in the software for DCS ? How can I get the P51D and other plane specific titles ?
  9. For me it will be to use a standalone installation. Is it 26ths November ? But I doubt we will see as good prices as here on DCS products.

  11. Which thread describes this ? I see the products being sold as DLC on steam to significantly higher prices than here. Maybe they hope to seel them and don't wan't us to buy here. Shouldn't there be another way that is to install DCS outside steam ? Maybe it's possible to have two installations ?
  12. What does this mean for practical purposes ? That I can't use a product purchased here if I have DCS installed through steam ? Or ? Hoping for answer before the sales end.
  13. I have purchased two modules (P51D and A10-C) after following the instructions to activate these I find this. When starting the game a windows pops up with two codes that I'm supposed to enter when the has started. I copied them to the clipboard. After the game now has started I see the A10-C available, but not the P51D. I have tried copy only the P51D code to the clipboard and trying to activate it again at Steam. Still P51D remains unavailable to me in the game ?
  14. I have problems installing my purchased modules. After pointing to the DCS folder and pressing NEXT I get a message saying DCS 1.2.6.18993 must be installed As a matter of fact I do have 1.2.6.18993 installed
  15. I tried the suggestions given here and this time it went good. But I still think it strange that I didn't always encounter the same problem when I tried the training session. Does the missions have crosswind but not the training sessions ?
  16. I have tried out all the training sessions by now. When I started with the missions I discover something weird. I'm unable to take off since the plane just at or after takeoff is impossible to control. I will roll mostly to the left until I crash. I find for example that I need full left rudder and aileron to counteract this for short while (but soon after that the plane crash being so difficult to control). I'm positive about applying 5 deg right rudder trim. Strange thing is that when I directly after this happening goes back to the training take off session I rarely experience any problem in the take off run. I understand nothing. I use CH Flight Yoke and rudders. I attach a trk file over a session where I encountered this problem. p51.trk
