  2. I want to go to Las Vegas! :pilotfly:
  3. If you consider splitting, I'll take the TrackIR 5
  4. Wow, thank you for your generosity. Now subbed and wish you all the best
  5. See video from Wags to answer your question - 0:50 onwards
  6. Ok, I think I've found a fix. 1. Remove HeadTracker.dll from 'Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin' folder 2. Download HeadTracker.dll from this thread and unzip 3. Place in 'Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin' folder 4. Enjoy It worked for me, so anyone else having this problem might be worth a try
  7. Interesting, I just tested this myself - Removed headtracker.dll = no crash. This would appear to be an issue related to facetracknoir then :(
  8. Good find. I remember seeing this video ages ago and wondering how long before one of the teams develops a VTOL aircraft. The Harrier would be awesome
  9. DCS and Windows are on separate SSDs that are less than two years old with over 50gb of space left on each and healthy according to CrystalDiskInfo and Sandisk Toolkit. chkdsk didnt resolve anything unfortunately.
  10. Thanks. I cleared the folder, started a quick start mission, exited (and it crashed again) and the two .log files along with a "me.log.old" were created dcs.log.txt me.log.txt
  11. I'm having the same "DCS world has stopped working" error every time I exit a mission. I tried updating the visual C++ 2013 as described above but that hasn't made any difference. I did upgrade to Win 10 in the last few days so im guessing its connected to this. Any suggestions? I have 8gb of ram and my crash logs appear to date back to 2013 so not sure if any of those are relevant.
  12. Available on steam from today: http://store.steampowered.com/app/292180/
  13. GG, those landings are amazing. You should consider posting some more videos if you have the time, I for one could learn a lot from them
  14. Wow very generous. DCS A-10C Warthog please :D
  15. "Prepar3D v2 will be available for purchase and digital download via the Prepar3D.com store on Monday Nov 25th" http://www.prepar3d.com/news/2013/11/4648/
  16. Yea that matches the picture on the previous page so there's a good chance that's what it will look like. Will be interested to find out the price of this next week
  17. Metacritic reviews don't look great so far. No joystick support seems like a poor decision and low framerate even on high end machines is worrying. Wont necessarily stop me from buying but not a great start
  18. Yea I noticed this on steam the other day and after having looked into think it could be really good. Only issue I have is that in some of the videos something seems off about the cockpit views, cant quite put my finger on it. Definitely keeping an eye on it but I think I may hold out for some reviews first
  19. Understandable, but I would imagine that a clickable cockpit for the Su-25 is far from a priority for ED. Although it would be great I'm not sure there are even plans for one?
  20. Thanks. I only got the facetracking software up and running today but seems to happen every time for me. I noticed in the other thread that you've been using the delanclip, does it happen with that also?
  21. When using FaceTrackNoIr and switching to external views the camera spins around erratically and cant be controlled with either the face tracking or with the mouse. Does anyone know if it is possible to modify any files to correct this?
  22. Yea I see that someone has done part of the cockpit which includes weapon status panel and the warning lights. Mod is here for anyone interested: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/472297/ Hopefully someone will do a full conversion mod at some point.... EDIT: Just to confirm, although the mod appears to be for FC3 I have tested it and it is working fine in DCS World
