What glider are you using for training? My training glider was an ASK-21. Not good for spin training as it is hard to get it into a spin (with my weight at least :) and it recovers almost immediately.

The difference between centering a thermal in Condor and in RL is quite noticeable. Even the best varios usually need 2 secs or more to show the change in the air mass vertical speed. Even the eyes see something a little bit later than your haptic sensors, if there is a visual clue at all. On the other hand, position of your body regarding the vertical can also help a lot to fly accurately without looking at the instruments constantly (as meny VFR pilots do). As AlphaOneSix says, it is the integrations which adds information and allow you to fly more accurately.

yes, that adds to the problem of sims even though this is more relevant in a range within 100 meters, which affects only some tasks, like air-to-air refueling or landing.

Acceleration/forces are fundamental for good performance, at least in VFR conditions. You can fly only with your eyes, as we do in any sim, but forces help a lot to understand what's going on, the atmosphere around you, how it is affecting the aircraft, etc. and so to fly better and more accurately. This is my experience as a glider pilot.

Hi there, My Warthog joystick has always shown some bias to the right. This is, when "centered" it is always commanding right wing down a little bit. This seem to have increased over time. I still can trim and play, but I would like to know if it can be corrected via software, or if any mechanical action is possible to decrease this bias. Thanks.

This is the change from entry 16 to 17 where it goes backwards. I understand it does not touch the logbook, but it happened after the update. Maybe an error from the game? My previous version (a couple of weeks old?) also had arrival mission. Not a problem repeating it, but thanks for the info.

Just in case this is a bug: I have updated the BFT campaign and it has sent me back to previous mission (from BFT08 to BFT07).

What version, 1.5 or 2? In 1.5.2 I have not noticed it despite of flying in the cloud bases.

I land at 120 mph in the runway threshold, but with the brake not working there is no way to stop it. Anyway, I will update the package and try again. EDIT: what is necessary to finish the mission, just shut down the A-10C?

Does it mean I should be pull out and push in a number of times to brake the A-10?

In BFT08 I do all correctly but when landing the emergency brake does not seem to work so I always end up in the grass, not possible to move so failing to pass successfully the mission. Any tip or idea why is it not working? Thanks.

First, I have talked about the joy of flight, not combat effectiveness. F-16 has always had a lot of hype as the ultimate dog-fighter, highly manoeuvrable and a pleasure fly machine. I am sure if we asked this community (before this video) about what aircraft is the funniest to flight for pilots between these two models, the F-16 would be the winner by a huge margin.

The final comments about the F-16 vs. the Mirage are against general mainstream thinking. I would like to know what other pilots having flown direct input vs. computerized aircrafts think.

I am working through the BFT01. Probably I should know it but... What SET means? For example, "Intercom Controls - SET" or "Emergency Flight Controls - SET"
