  1. I had rather thought of a Simulated Flameout Approach: one engine runs on idle, the other is operating normal. This is (of course?) possilbe in the real Su-25T and also in DCS, which i figured out lately.
  2. IMO, in the Basic Flight Training Qualification, the exercise 2 with the one engine flame out emergency landing should be done at least after the exercise 4 "Perform Approach and Landing". Perform Advanced Handling by Recon Stewart
  3. 1st row: To my knowledge 22.65 m/s climb = 74.31 fps climb So what does "4470.28 fps" mean? Edit: question is now overcome Means ft per minute = fpm
  4. Different configurations for left and right engine I read with a single engine failure (on fire) you need the fire to turn off (1) with shutting down the specific engine (2) cutting off the fuel of the specific engine. Is it possible to treat right and left su-25t engines differently? If yes any experiences with different configurations of right and left engine?
  5. 1.1.8. Take-off at maximum take-off weight - During takeoff with maximum takeoff weight pull at your stick at a speed of 200-220 km / h to get the nose-wheel up - Nose-wheel should go up at 220-240 km/h - Lift off / plane leaves the runway at a speed of 260-265 km / h etc. an extract of well-founded reference book "Су-25" : "1.1.8.
  6. Su-25T dumps fuel at approx. 11:20 min Max landing weight: 16410 kg
  7. Installation question So the file "Mistv3_3_Sven2.lua" stays also in the file "Gori Valley - 2014-08-08.095.miz"? Read somewhere that the mist-lua scripts need an extra folder.
  8. Actual the thread is entitled "Show your first takeoff/Landing" and not your 5th or 9th try.
  9. Valid points (plus give us the Shkval search-mode) The A-10C can identifiy the type of scanning aircraft the Su-25T not. How do you deal with unidentified, scanning planes (cockpit marker in SPO-15/RWR) and you dont know what is it and who he is? In this situation you should normally abort your mission - or not?
  10. No installation text/hint found. Where to put all the lua-scripts? In the mission folder?
  11. Basic Flight Training Qualification - 04 - Approach and Landing by Recon Stewart Instructor warnings like "you are above glide path" are irritating because its a purely VFR - Approach. Here IAF is choosen at 2500ft, which is realistic. Dcs-World/Su-25T IAFs are at 3050ft/1000m, which is quite high.
  12. No matter what course i choose, a different type Ai Aircraft will follow me? Example (trk/mission) please?
  13. Where (in which folder) to put the file/script WOPR.lua?
  14. The missioin is working. Took off 8:44. THe present of an unindentified aircraft near Nalchik AB had worried me ("saw" it on the SP-15 system but could not identify this if friend or foe). Ultimately i dare a take-off. But because i was late (pontiac was always in holding position and i had no information how long he could stay in the air) i decided to abort the mission. Landed at 09:05. Unfortunately the weather setting is unrealistic (always 0 m/s and always 000°). Subtitles have no info who is speaking (sender missing). The briefing (here Su-25T) gave me no detailed information about the present/intention of friendly AI-aircrafts. Scenerie at nalchik good (most of )the audio-files sounded reasonable, realistic.
  15. In the Su25T are several wrong labels, DCS made. Among other things, "Brake" and "Hydro" are interchanged. "Brake left/right" should be "Hydro 1/2" and vice versa. Dont know russian but i saw in other mods that "Empty" in the tank display was labled as "REM(AINING)" or "REST". IMO this makes more sence. I am curious about the warning lamps (Su25T).
  16. Basic Flight Training - Traffic pattern.... by Recon Stewart and other training qualiyfications.
  17. [quote=S77th-runny;2116592 Instead, you might end up with endless 15 year old chatter about the girl at school. +100
  18. the Su-25T appears to be delayed " SU-25T COMPLETE ENGLISH COCKPIT | WIP Step 2/3 - Translating & texting: %75 SU-25A COMPLETE ENGLISH COCKPIT | WIP Step 2/3 - Translating & texting: Done!"
  19. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=52113 Warning lamps in Su-25
  20. Auto leveling to regular needs up to 30 seconds time if you are in a disadvantageous situation (e.g. on the top of a loop with low speed)
  21. There should be a complete english cockpit mod made in the LO:FC1/FC2 era. Do you have googled with "СУ-25 инструкция летчику" or similar?
  22. Since every "gate" is a waypoint, your required heading to the next gate shows the HSI (course, distance etc... )
  23. This also can happen in a Su-25T. Workaround: missioin restart
