  1. Thanks for the quick reply. I`ve watched this vid to check the procedures. Random faliures are on in my settings.
  2. Emergencies Hi Sabre I`m having problems progressing with BFT08. I do the engine shut down and restart ok then it should start to give me random failures but nothing happens until the voice over informs me I failed to respond correctly. Many Thanks ARACAS
  3. The slang term given them by Sabre pilots in Korea I believe. I`ve heard it mentioned there might be some products on the way and it makes sense the harder they squeeze the more Gs you`re pulling. Would be another great feedback device.
  4. Hi All Just a quick public post to say what a fantastic service Andrey runs. Got my JetSeat in London in just under two weeks and I think it`s great. Any queries I`ve had Andrey has answard them straight away and it works perfectly You`re going to have to start selling Speed Jeans next Andrey. Thanks Mate Aracas11
  5. Hi guys I did read a post about this but can`t find it again. When flying the Mirage in 1.5.xx.xx at 35* bank results in a turn with no rudder input needed according to the slip indicator . The same manouver in 2.0.xx.xx results in hardley any turn and a lot of slip requiring full rudder deflection to negate slip. Both flights with 2x magic and 2x sarhs no drop tank
  6. Sounds like this is the story behind the picture http://rbth.co.uk/news/2015/06/04/su-34_bomber_crashes_in_voronezh_region_pilots_survive_46646.html
  7. When you use a cash point machine and realise the hard/soft interface is exactly the same as an A10-C MFD even down to the lines going from the button to the option. Waitrose carpark. :)
  8. If you look closely the formation lights on the nose form an "EDGE" and if you divide "400" by 200 you get 2 clearly eluding to "EDGE 2" very clever of ED indeed !:smilewink:
  9. RWR CTD MISSION Mission starts with player hot on the ramp switch on MWS ,JMR,RWR ect allow the two Strike Eagles to get airborne then adjust the RWR volume, instant CTD . Many thanks RWR CTD .miz
  10. It only seems to happen when something is on the scope.
  11. Since the latest update i get a CTD when i try to adjust the RWR volume ?.
  12. Hi Sixxpack check out ARIES radio it has a section on using it with the Sabre.
  13. Or Flown Sabres in Korea !:)
  14. Hi anql the ranging is automatic , you have to use the electric cage to tell the sight where the target is then you let go and the fun starts and yes it is damned difficult trust me , but if you really want to kill MIGs line them up on the runway and strafe them before they take off it relieves MIG kill stress every time !
  15. The sight works as described above try it and how far out do you expect to engage a small rapidly maneuvering target , the guns on the Sabre were harmonised for 300m and last night i flew in formation (loosely) with another Sabre and an A-10C , i used my A4 sight to give me range to my leader, it locked on perfectly every time from over 4200ft range and showed rate of closure all the way. Don`t forget if your below 6000ft altitude or in bad weather your lock range will be greatly reduced, turning down your sweep range will reduce the amount of interference from the ground etc.

    Disappear

I`m on the VA server doing my start ups in the Sabre and suddenly i`m in spectator mode and my air craft has disappeared ?. This has happened a number of times recently , any ideas . Many thanks
  17. When the radar locks on it provides range info only it does not place the piper on the target. Once locked you must electrically cage the sight, this action centers the piper and holds it there, then you must maneuver the plane to place the piper on the target hold it there for a second then release the electrical cage button now the piper will start to float around showing you where your rounds will be at the locked range when fired so you now have to maneuver the aircraft to place the piper on the target and fire , it works very well indeed and don`t forget lots of Saber pilots never actually shot anything down anyway .
  18. The Sabre dance was in the F100 Super Sabre i think.
  19. Just read in the F-86 pilots manual that due to inherent stability at mid to high speed very little to no rudder is needed to fly the plane in coordinated manner.
  20. It seems to start happening when you get above mach 0.75
  21. Here`s my one thanks rolltrouble.trk
  22. I have noticed that above mach 0.75 the sabre won`t do an axial roll to the left getting only 3/4 of the way round and then making a funny repeating high pitch click , it will do a full high speed roll to the right no problem. I have my controls window open so can see i`m getting full roll command in both directions and am aware of and have experienced uncommanded pitching and rolling at high transonic speed but this feels like a bug ?.
  23. I am surprised at how little the rudder needs to be used when airborn and that it is only needed at low speed to coordinate turns , where as at higher speed it seems that it is left centered unless i`m using it to adjust my aim. Is this how the Sabre was flown ?.
  24. Just did the Flight Suit Attitude mission for the umpteenth time and managed to get all four migs , i did what the Honchos did in Korea and loitered above the action then engaging the migs while they are distrtacted with their own engagements, either defensive or offensive. I did have unlimited ammo on by mistake from a previous bombing practice though !:music_whistling:
  25. I lost keyboard and all joystick inputs this morning in a single player mission.
