Hi, x52_manual.pdf Progressive throttle control Super smooth action with metal tension adjustment and detents for programming idle (0-20%) and afterburner (80-100%) settings.

Hi, ggf.

Hi, I guess you have the latest win10 drivers ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/beta/Windows10/ DCS-FAQ My input devices don’t work ( joystick axes work incorrectly, buttons click don’t work, etc.) What should I do? http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/501/ I would make more Make screenshots from your option-settings ( graphics, gameplay, ... ) C:\Users\ your account \Saved Games\DCS Copy the folder ...\DCS for a backup - if you want to restore files from ...\missions, ...\tracks, ...\screenshots Delete the folder ...\DCS Run a repair : All programs \ Eagle Dynamics \ Repair (as admin) Start DCS and test your joystick-settings without saving anything to a profile If you klick "OK" when leaving the configuration window the settings should be saved ( and loaded with every DCS-start ) For some problem-threads was the solution : Delete ...\DCS + repair ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit ################### I don`t know whether the X55 has the same behavior and may cause connection-problems ( the X52 uses only one USB-port) I learned one thing for my X52 Pro Install the driver Connect to a USB-port MARK the USB-port NEVER EVER use another USB-port (plug-out/plug-in actions)

Hi, Yes, it is the PTR (Pitch and Roll Bar Switch) on the panel - page 116 "PTS" on page 113 seems to be wrong
-
Hi, See manual page 113 6. Course Warning Flag. Course Warning Flag. When selected ILS or TACAN mode on the Navigation Mode Select Panel and corresponding signal is not received, this flag at the top of the instrument will become visible. If you wish, you can stow the Flag by setting the PTS switch on the Navigation Mode Select Panel to STOW position.

Hi, Affects not only a WW2 scenario * Will there be some day a classic flightplan ( course, speed, ..., remarks ) available from the mission-editor input * in combination with a not zoomable, but shiftable map on a kneeboard or better as an F10-option ?

Hi, Don't know. But it seems that it has a "round shaft" Have a look to the old and new one - they have a "D-shaft"
-
Hi, It should be the same as with the X52 Start the profile with the Profiler Start DCS The profile should work now The only thing is to controll/set the axis in DCS for the specific airplane and it`s DCS profile-mode/s ( some have two modes : real and game/easy ) See the PIC Inside DCS you have to load nothing All axis commands and in game bindings to joystick/throttle units are saved when you click "OK" on leaving the screen I never used the load and save option From time to time I make a backup of all settings C:\Users\xxxx\Saved Games\DCS\Config (with subfolders for all installed modules)

Hi, Noch nichts bekannt Denke mal, mit Su-27 The Ultimate Argument Campaign hat DCS den Preis für Kampagnen festgesetzt : 9.99 $ http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/campaigns/ Klingt auf jeden Fall mal spannend, was da kommt "In parallel, we are also working on RED FLAG campaigns for both the F-15C and A-10C in cooperation with the author Steve Davies and pilots that have flown multiple RED FLAGs." http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=135321

Hi, Example Batumi Have a look at Batumi on page 17 \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Doc\Charts\DCS_GND_Charts.pdf Runway 13 : 126°T true heading -> "rounded" 13 Important for us is the magnetic heading : 120° !!! Runway 31 : 306°T true heading -> "rounded" 31 Magnetic heading : 300° Batumi - ATC : 131.0 Call ATC Batumi F1 : Inbound ATC-Answer "ATC (callsign Batumi): Enfield 1-1, fly heading 314 for 50, QFE 29.89., to pattern altitude" 314 = 314° 50 = 50 nm QFE 29.89 - set on altimeter gauge to pattern altidude = ca. 2000 ft AGL and a speed < 250 - in a distance of ca. 5 nm in front of the runway Fly heading 314° (in this example) The distance is not so important - the end point is 5 - 10 nm roundabout the airport Select a map scale of 10 on the TAD airplane symbol - inner circle = 5 nm airplane symbol - outer circle = 10 nm If on course, the ATC comes per automatic ( in a distance of 5 - 10 nm roundabout the airport ) "ATC (callsign Batumi) : Enfield 1-1, cleared for visual, contact tower" F1. Request landing The correct heading for runway 13 is 120° You can exercise it without using DIVERT and Batumi as steerpoint Try it at day / at night

Hi, Thanks for the tip with the unzipped folder I guess @rokomah wants to have a better visual distinction of the pointers From the distance I have sometimes the same problem - what is what ?

Hi, It should be possible to change the color in the drawing \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Cockpit\Resources\Model\Textures\A_10C_C_EDM_TEX.zip In the zip file you will find the drawing file "A-10C_devices_02.dds" with the pointers DCS A-10C Skin Tutorial - 476th Virtual Fighter Group http://www.476vfightergroup.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=249&act=down&actionhash=guest Some time ago I made first tiny steps with skin`s Converting You need a software to open a *.dds file for to save it as *.bmp Repaint the pointers in the *.bmp with e.g. MS Paint Open the *.bmp and save it as .dds Replace the "A-10C_devices_02.dds" with the new version in A_10C_C_EDM_TEX.zip I used Paint.NET (freeware) for *.dds to *.bmp and *.bmp to *.dds There are different options for "SAVE as *.dds" ( try and error ) The new *.dds should have the same size as the original *.dds Another freeware for converting seems to be DXTBmp Updates and DCS-repair can replace "your" modified A_10C_C_EDM_TEX.zip Edit ####### Pic 1 Opend *.dds and saved as *.jpg with IrfanView - does not support DDS Pic 2 Opend *.dds and saved as *.bmp ( *.jpg for upload ) with DXTBmp - what a difference
