  1. Sometimes the lock breaks, and then it's obvious they miss of course... But it's not always the break of the lock that causes the miss. But you bring me to a new question, how to be sure to keep the lock, fly straight isn't an option of course, sometimes the lock just seems to disappear, while within the radar limits, really frustrating.
  2. Well Aeroscout, you are not the only friggin'retard in here. A friend and I have been training this last few days, (2 SU-27 vs 2 F-15c that is) so nice timing on your thread. We were already doing it as descibed, but we encounter another problem... those 27ERs just won't hit, from far, from close, just no luck. Any suggestions on increasing hit chance? My friend was practicing some offline and shot 4x an ER on a target, 4 misses (of course not wham wham wham wham, but with time separation, retards aren't that dumb ;)) Last, totally off-topic, that's what tards are good at ;), the idea is get the a-pole pretty small, and the f-pole as close to the a-pole as possible? (by turning left or right) Thanks in advance, Yours, Sven aka Storm.i
  3. Well, let's blame it on ED then ;). They just nerfed the Dutch F-16 pilots ;). (expert sounds ugly for Dutch pilots anyway, should be called ьber anyway ;)). Back from the joking to the movie, nice quality, but did it make any sense? (I missed that one i guess.) -edit: solved (you were just 1 sec earlier with posting)
  4. OMG, really really good. I 100% agree with the others saying this movie is awesome. beautiful action, nice editing, impressive how you mixed the music through. 1 last word: MORE! ;) Yours, Sven
  5. Well, if the guy is quick he can destroy em both? Guess the point is made indeed, more choppers doesn't mean more protection against this kind of attacks. And then another question: What do those sensors do? Do they give a warning to the pilot(s) (I think pretty useless because then the pilot is too late anyway?) or do they have flares deployed by themeselves? Or maybe something else?
  6. It's an aerobatic manouvre where you fly "sideways", so 1 wing facing to the ground, to other in the sky. Like doing a hard turn but keeping the plane fly in a straight direction. It's kinda hard to explain, certainly if English is't your native language, if you still don't understand it, maybe this image will make it more clear: http://www.f16demoteam.nl/contentimage/gallery/original/1138736458_3_2.jpg
  7. I guess with a "knife edge pass" u will be able to do it without touching the bridge itself.
  8. Guess you are correct, still looks awfull though.
  9. I neither flown the real Boeing 737 :(, nor in FSX nor in an expensive simulator. So I'm not sure of the things I'll say, but I'll do anyway. I believe you if you say that the flight modeling of the expensive simulator is about as good as in FSX. But that would be in nice weather with nothing going wrong. Is it still "just as good" when you have bad weather like fog and/or heavy crosswinds, is it still "just as good" when you fly with mechanical problems like engine failure or something similar? Sven
  10. Could be possible, but from what material could it be made of, it looks very ugly, and I don't have a clue.
  11. They have to alt-tab, look @ the first picture, there are some graphic bugs there between the weels, does 2 poles or something. No tbh, what are those poles or whatever you want to call them, 1 is kind of attached to the wing, and the other well, just doing nothing?
  12. Very nice comparison, the cockpit is a bit too high yes, but watch for overdoing the "sleeking" because the F-15 model (Walmis' one) is a bit smaller in the picture and thus less sleek anyway.
  13. Sorry that I can't help you, but I'm wondering what he pointed out as other issues?
  14. Great work :) tnx for making it available.
  15. That's ok, but I don't think you will get a good overall idea. But that's just me. Imo padlock should be allowed, and is it quite realistic. (of course TrackIr is more realistic, but ppl without trackir should have the oppurtunity aswell to have an "easy following target thingie".
  16. Imo this poll is kind of 3 polls in 1: Should padlock be enabled? -yes -no How realistic is padlock? -Padlock is realistic (option missing :O) -Padlock is quite realistic -Padlock is unrealistic Do you think using padlock is cheating? -yes -no (option missing) And that's why I think the results of this poll are rubbish and can't be used for anything, as people aren't able to vote 3 times.
  17. Maybe because of the direction of wind. Other option could be that it is fake, but why fake this?
  18. Ok, well, at least it isn't something wrong here then. Thank you for your quick reply and sorry for my dumb question. yours, Sven
  19. Hello there, I've got my copy of FC the day before yesterday (finally) and it's great :), but I've got a minor problem. As you can see on the screens below, when I've full afterburner set, the gauges don't indicate so. It's strange, and not really nice when checking settings, though it doesn't really matter that much of course. The gauges won't change till I set my throttle lower than that like 103%. Maybe it's normal with FC, if so, I'm sorry to bother you. Here the screens in an F-15c, but same problem in an SU-27, so I'm quite sure I've this problem in every plane; http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/stormdoti/ScreenShot_001.jpg Not full afterburner indicated by the gauges Outside view of the beautiful F-15c done by Walmis (big cheers :)) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/stormdoti/ScreenShot_002.jpg I've tried disabling all mods except Walmis one of the F-15 model (Why would it change the engine gauges of all the planes?), because it doesn't work with Modman, but nothing changed. Thanks in advance Sven aka Storm.i
  20. Like others already said, looking really really cool. Have fun completing your awesome creation. Too bad most of the time I shoot the SU-27 out of the air -.-
