Holy smokes! I was 453_Cullen...I remember the old boys, Kin, Read, etc.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is that the 453 RAAF virtual? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Oh man, this is going on and on and on and on. They have already said it will be the CJ. Buy it or not, it is up to you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Actually, it is only my outboard pylons that are missing. If I put Magics on the inboard pylons they show up no issue. If I put Magics on the outboard pylons then the pylons don't show up, the missile is suspended in mid air Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I also have this problem, I just put it down to the Mirage being in Beta. Are there people who do t hve this issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With or without the 9C I will buy the MIII. Seriously, feel sorry for developers who try to please everyone and then realise there is no pleasing some people. I love the MIII, will buy whatever module or variant they decide to make. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just read the excitement of another DCS Helicopter module getting a Multicrew update in the next few days, and was wondering if this is still coming for the Huey. Would be incredible to fly this bird in Multicrew Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This looks great! I had an F-86 from FAB crash at the back of my house in 1984 (I think...long time ago)....while the pilot was practicing for the ceremony to celebrate most years without accidents....ironic. Here is a good site with some photos. http://www.aviacionboliviana.net/fab/pres/art_f86f.htm

New rudder pedals by Virtual Fly, the creators of the "Yoko Yoke", call "RUDDO", they are taking pre release orders right now, they are metal and look quite good, well worth considering as an option Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Indeed, this will be a world changer if and when it does get applied Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would buy it full price. A trainer can do just that in DCS, full systems and dynamic training. Look forward to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I took on an A10 yesterday and had no problem depriving him of his entire wing, don't forget you are also limited to the damage model of your victim Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Really enjoying this aeroplane at the moment, it is what it is, I have never flown an M2000 in real life so whatever they give me is a new experience to enjoy. Graphics are stunning, sounds are terrific and performing turns like I used to see the old Mirage III on display is a blast. Thanks to the developers, great release Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Beaut, thanks for this, just learnt something, love the forums. Cheers

Ummm no they DON'T have differential brakes. By definition, differential brakes is an individual brake unit on each side. The MiG has a single pneumatic brake unit which engages the main wheels at the same time. The original question was about poor steering, yes they are primitive but with some practice it can be done. It is all in the good manuals and Chuck's excellent guide.
-
Strongly suggest you either read the manual or the very good guide by Chuck to understand the systems on this bird. The MiGs don't have steerable nose wheels nor differential brakes. You apply thrust, then rudder to steer and apply the brake to force the nose wheel in the direction you require.

It is a good idea. I put mine together at Christmas time, and I use a spare slider in my joystick for zoom in and out, works perfectly well.

Speaking of losing a wing....has anyone noticed that once your wing is gone, your payload is still there, hanging off an "invisible" wing which is no longer there? I got shot down by AAA and when I went to external view, my Mavericks and Bombs were still there, hanging off as if the wing was in place.
-
I have started using this with the MiG 15 but the head movement with inertia lags behind and makes it really hard to target anything. Are you using any mods to assist with this? Thanks in advance
-
FreeTrack Real Head Movement I am using Edtracker, no need for a camera, it is very small and can use the Freetrack interface. Works really well with DCS

Try this one? DCS- MiG-21 Bis - Air to Ground.:

I am trying to create a new Helicopter Rescue mission high in the mountains...the enemy is largely concentrations of soldiers. The mission goes well, except for the fact that the enemy soldiers largely ignore the Huey, even when I fly right over the top of them at 500ft or less. Does the AI for ground troops ignore Helicopters?

Keith, after 1.2.5 there is a problem with the Huey in the options page. Go to your DCS/saved games folder and in the "Inputs" sub folder delete the Huey folders you find. You will now have default controls in the Huey but the Options/Controls menu wi be available to you once again.
