  7. Ok so I'm just back to give you some explanations about the 1.5 compatibility. Currently the textures work with 1.5, but the LOD transition distance is back to 500 meters. I'll upload to you the various .Lua which correct this for all the configurations (Low, medium, High and the new ultra config). They should be available on this post and on the first page below the mention FOR DCS 1.5 AND FUTURE 2.0. I'll add them today. By the way, to provide you more explanations about why I didn't continue this mod : - Wasn't sure about the compatibility on DCS Edge engine. Seems okay. - With the feedbacks I went to realize that some few buildings (mainly, for me, the 16 stairs grey double tower) aren't really in the Caucasus spirit. If someone can provide me a nice full HD (or 4k) texture for this tower, which may look like this , I'd correct this one. - I've got studies so don't have time to spend on it anymore for continuing it ;) - I saw that you made yourselves another version with crazyeddie files ;) Personally I think there should be two different packages for each texture set, as long as the textures type aren't the same at all (Mine are photographies, Crazyeddie ones look more like artistic draws). This to allow people to choose two different textures pack, and to have a complete alternative for the future DCS 2.0 release . . .   8. Yes but on the track I provided you, there were no targets, I just aimed at ground and mountains, obtaining between 500 meters and 10 km of variation. At this level, there is nothing to say about it except that there is somewhere an issue in the code. (Terrain ? Shkval itself ?) Ka-50 is made to attack at relatively high speed its targets, releasing rockets and canon, they'd never accept a system whith such error level. i mean. When I aim at the mountain, there is the sky behind the mountain. So, when I move my shkval, it should, in the worse case, think that I'm aiming at the sky, and give me a 99.9 km distance. There it goes from 12 km, then goes down meters after meters to 0 ! ^^ Staying objective, it's not normal ! :D Nicolas

Mountains, 12:00 no clouds, no fog etc, DCS 1.5 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8Wfkj5nEKIGbnhIRkk2YlkxS3c/view?usp=sharing Locking a mountain 7km away, wait for the 3 seconds. Move just 1 mm your shkval, telemtry is gone (from 12 to 0 km). Locking the ground 2.5 km in front of me, and then slewing will make me loose 500 meters. That's grat when your on a rockets pass on infantry for example... WELL. Not a problem ! After all, we do not play so often by night, by fog, by cloudy weather, in morning or in afternoon, or in mountains ! Personnally I only fly above sea, and don't use my shkval cause it's a weapon system and weapons are bad... This bug is a bug and will be reported in the section DCS1.5. No need to longer insist ;) See you !
  10. Aaaaaand it even happens when you lock on a building in AH... Perhaps is it a moving building ? There is an issue, people should try to provide as much info as possible instead of negating it.
  11. Have you ever in your life used a telemeter to say such thing ? This is mainly why issues like this one aren't fixed, people saying without knowing anything about it "it's its normal behaviour". NO ! A laser is a laser ! It doesn't get shorter or longer when using it ! It's just a telemeter ! If Leica manages to sell real telemeters for 200$, and they work fine (1-5 meters accuracy), could you provide me an explanation on how should the Kamov one loose 2 to 10 km when using it ? There is a real issue about this ! So if you want a finely working shkval, cease excusing ED for all its bugs ! This is because of people like you that DCS is today a bug nest ! And yes, that's clearly fanboyism, don't care about "ow we don't post like this in the Ka-50". Do you know what does the community think about the ED forums community : 1) Censor 2) Fanboys And that's all, shame on you !

Had a laser warning when I got locked by a Su-27 tonight on the fireball server (currently the alarm saved my life, the poor man tried to follow me after having missed me twice, and unfortunately met my friend who was waiting for him in a Tor :D). And I think the two enemy Kamovs I shot down too had it because, when i locked at them before sending them my glorious vikhrs, they tried to leave their AH and hide... They didn't hide fast enough... :( - PVP in Kamov Rule #1 : Lock your enemy with your laser when you're sure to be near enough from him to shoot. - PVP in Kamov Rule #2 : Don't show mercy. - PVP in Kamov Rule #3 : Move stealthy, attack in the back. - PVP in Kamov Rule #4 : Never go more than 15 km away from your friendly SAM. - PVP in Kamov Rule #5 : If your enemy tried to land, then use your Rockets Fatality points. - PVP in Kamov Rule #6 : Do not regret ANYTHING :D Nicolas
  14. Currently the main issue for me is the telemetry often getting crazy in mountains (or when you're fluing low, or by night... Or by fog... Well...). You know, you illuminate your target, you've got for example 3.5 km, wait few seconds, it then indicates you 2.5 km. Using Vikhr, it's not a real issue, but using canon on a 130km/h pass, it's very annoying, cause you have to illuminate again, and if you do it too often, your laser will burn... So with the experience, it has become an entire part of the gameplay for me (and I think for many people, surely like you Reaper, or you Die Hard), but I don't think it's normal. But sometimes, it gets worse, by coming from 7 km to 0 (or 99.9, my favorite one ;) ), and so the shkval goes crazy... (And of course, it'll happen to you when you're in an emergency situation and have to fire fast :p ) I just wonder if it's a kamov issue, or a terrain one... But getting it fixed would really be nice. When people say "Kamov is entirely buggy", no, it's not. It's old, its cockpit and external model are becoming ugly when you compare them to the most recent modules... But it's perfectly playable, and a real pleasure on PVP servers (gnihihih). Except this, there are some bugs, perhaps minor ones, but they are there for many monthes/years, so I understand people getting angry (nope I won't make a list, not enough time and energy). For the wiper, someone once told me that on an old version of BS (perhaps BS1), it was possible to see it in your shkval... True ? Anyway it's kinda a just for fun feature as long as rain isn't modeled on glasses. I didn't even know there was a switch for it before he talked to me about it, and it was after having flown it for 3 years ^^ For the Ogreman post, currently it makes sense for me (didn't read this 23 pages conversation, so perhaps you demonstrated that it's entirely wrong...). What I don't understand is : Why to align the circle on the target is supposed to be so important as long as in duo-fire missile, the circle is in the center and you don't have to do it. I mean, it's a little strange no ? So I know that Soviet engineers are known for their vodka consumption but... Nicolas
  15. DOn't know for you, but noticed that using the diveplane's mod on 1.5 makes the explosions sounds when getting hit by for example 23 mm disappear. An issue from me or not ? Nicolas

When starting the helicopter with the ground crew electric power(Ext AC/DC), if take off without asking for cuting off the alimentation and without switching off the ext AC/DC swtiches : I can fly with the GPU on during all the flight until I switch off the ext AC/DC. Seen on others pilots. I must say it's a very useful bug :p Nicolas
  18. Reported on several others members on the same flight. I was able to cut 5 cables with my rotor until the sixth may destroy the rotor. (Speed under 50 km/h) Nicolas
