  1. Would you like photos or videos and animations? I think I can get you plenty of either. Kungfu, howabout making a new thread in the general section, linking them here.
  2. But in the end it turned out those skins weren't compatible. I just don't see a point in doing that other than as for placeholders for screenie purposes, as the model will evolve. But yes, during the development, please do slap on the skin to see if it fits, but if not, don't TRY to make it fit.
  3. Well you don't want the modelers to be working around the skins. You'd end up with another low poly model that would fit the skins, but look just as bad. I think we should completely let the skin problem aside, and let them do the best they can on the model itself.
  4. Also, Will this be put on the main news and download sections of the LOMAC site? This surely would sell it to a few more hundred people alone.. ;)
  5. ..and just some beauty shots!
  6. The new, longer version is beautiful! Thanks alot for this very original mod!
  7. So does that mean we can have spinning turbines on the player's A-10 or not?
  8. Absolutely stunning! Sounds really do make a difference, and can truly make or break a movie! The previous BS movie, the one that played to the Rammstein soundtrack was brilliant, but the lack of ingame sounds made it feel half-complete. Great job with the atmosphere as usual! Was a bit disappointed you didn't include any cockpit footage at all; don't forget that the external model isn't the only model that's beautiful. ;)
  9. A bit late here, but I just never got a chance to reply. Initially, as I watch the project progress underway, I couldn't quite pick out what Walmis changed, and but was happy a new model was being worked on anyway. I took it in game, however, and boy was I wrong! Once you're ingame with it, it all comes together, and you can just 'feel' the model being much more detailed. Looking back at screenies of the old default model, the flat sides and edges to the low polly nose and round parts was awful! It really brings out the difference. Also, the high quality skins you provided with it are simply amazing! Loving Mitch's skins, and Ice's too! I'm a Die hard Flanker fan, but now, I find myself flying the Eagle and hot exclusively! That said, I'll let everyone else handle the updates and suggestions, as they seem to be handling quite excessively well. ;) Great job Walmis!
  10. That said I found LOMAC is one of the more forgiving sims, or game at all, to catch lightning strikes in, especially when clouds are abundant. The flash that permeates the area resides for just enough time to snap that snippet!
  11. With that news, I will initiate the usual refresh-of-page-every-20-seconds technique..
  12. WOW! Absolutely STUNNING effect!!
  13. HolyCRAP 1 GIG and 50 minutes! Not sure if i'll be able to find time to watch it entirely, hope the DL is at least fast.
  14. Oh! Didn't know you had an upcoming movie! Definitely looking forward to seeing more BS footage, keep us updated!
  15. Interesting! Had no idea you could make the Flankers land on the CVN70 just buy allying the sides! Does this mean I can make Hornets and tomcats land on the Kuz as well?
  16. ..wtf? why purposely bump a 2005 thread?
  17. ah...gotcha. But good point, in regards to the TrackIR, I have that exact same problem now. The F5, F10, and F12 keys are all binded to a trackir command by default. Don't you currently have a trackIR, what did you bind those keys to?
  18. heh...yup. What exactly did you need to bind anyway?
  19. Thanks for the link Teka, was looking for an up to date one as well. KungFu, if you notice, the CapsLock key has no assigned command, unless you've already assigned it to something else yourself.
  20. This thread is from FEB 2005.
  21. Yes, it happened, and was posted several times already. The F-15 has such a wide body that at high speeds the fuselage gave it some lift and stability, it was basically a rocket.
  22. Absolutely phenomenal! High-G/Alpha vertices and condensation were something I've always wanted to see implemented into LOMAC! I thought that it was impossible and limited by the graphics engine, but I never thought of building it into the aircraft model itself like that! This is absolutely great news, almost as important as the brand new Flanker model itself! I hope you continue to follow through with this particular effect, can you imagine how brilliant it would look when in a dogfight? Keep the updates/screenies coming!
  23. heh yea...I can zoom, by default, in the cockpit.. It's the "/" and "*" keys above the numberpad.
  24. There's NO such thing as too much detail! Go wild and scale down from there, that's what LOD's are for!
  25. WOW! Definitely very original and appreciated indeed! The differences from those screenies are exceptional, very round compared to the blocky default one! And as shown above, afterburners can extend EXTREMLY Far, so could you perhaps make an extended version just for kicks, that extends out to at least another half an aircraft length behind?
