When I use the comms link (F6) tower, followed by (F3) inbound, I get a message with a bearing, distance and height to fly. 1. usually if i follow this i fly round in circles. What am I doing wrong? 2. Is there any quick way to measure the distance to fly to the next tower instruction point (that is visible on the hud e.g.)? or is this feature workable? col

When refuelling a2a I connect with adorgue but do not go iinto autopilot. (i connect with selected drogue) Am i doing something wrong? I only get a few seconds of fuelling and then the 'lock' breaks col

I have staged an attack by a AH-64 against 4 T-80s using hellfire missiles. The hellfire detonate harmlessly against the T-80s and the AH-64 gets shot out of the sky. is this what would happen? (obviously it's all AI) col

Finally plucked up courage and went on-line. scored a hit then accidetnally shot down my own side. (only used hud didn't check radar) What does ping mean? I saw a warning saying pings over 400 will be ejected from server. How can i find what mine are? online is awesome

mudspike many thanks am new to much of it. AWACS eventually says '..... merged...' what exactly does that mean any other jargon that might be useful is there a glossary somewhere when is black shark out can't wait.

My wingman somteimes says ' mudspike ...0'clock permission to attack' what is a mudspike? should i tell him to attack? regards snakeyes.

Tahnks for your help. I appreciate it. But the problem is the save does not work it actually replies 'file could not be saved' there is no reason why very occasionally it does and the save state is reusable but most times it fails
