  1. There are some bridges missing, but that isn't the case for most of the disconnected roads that I saw. If you experiment with this and move the waypoints around tiny bits you'll find that there is usually one short segment of road that has no navmesh.
  2. Some roads seem to be missing the road navmesh for vehicles. I gave a convoy a series of "on road" waypoints and they took rather strange directions. You can see in the screenshot that the main road is apparently not detected as a road by the AI: null
  3. The DCS F10 map colours urban areas yellow. On the Germany map any areas with fields appear to be classified as urban, and therefore get coloured yellow. This makes navigating using the F10 map very very difficult, as it's hard to determine where towns are and therefore use them as landmarks. See the two screenshots - they are taken at the exact same place, just switching between 'alt' and 'sat' modes. nullnull
  4. Repro: 1: Run attached mission 2: Wait until left A-10 is damaged by Shilkas 3: Go to F10 map 4: click on left A-10 Sadly it is an infinite freeze rather than proper CTD, so it doesn't generate a proper CTD report. dcs.log FogTest2.miz
  5. Fog is flickering quite a bit at the end of its render distance. Apparently this is known, but more examples are useful, so here is one. This mission has some fog and a single GM slot. To repro, load mission, zoom in on the bullseye positions a bit, and use ctrl+F11 to go into free camera. Move the camera altitude to 20,000ft or so and look west (out to sea). You will see the flickering at the edge of the fog render distance. dcs.logFogTest1.miz
  6. Dear Ugra media, why did you demand that this area be removed from the Sinai map? I can state with a high level of confidence that exactly zero people decided against buying the Syria map based on this area being present on the Sinai map. This demand will likely have the opposite effect of what you intend - as people will potentially avoid purchasing your products based on your newly acquired reputation for damaging other third party products. Northern Israel/Lebanon/Sea of Galilee area being present in the Sinai map in no way hurts the Syria map, and will not cause people to choose one or the other.
  7. On the bright side, we got F-35 circles! Which I don't want, as I want this map for historical (or alternate history) engagements. Having Israel and the sea of galilee area made it possible to do missions to the North and South of Israel from one airbase.
  8. The entire naval combat part of DCS needs a big overhaul. This would be a nice step towards it.
  9. Why was this done? Airfields such as Ramat David are important even for missions involving the Sinai peninsula. For example aircraft based there took part in the opening raids for the 6 day war. Please put the detail back in.
  10. It really needs a big explanation of the failure panel, instead of having the warnings all tucked away in individual sections.
  11. Many controls (e.g. the armament panel buttons) have 2 keybinds - one for on, one for off. This makes it very hard to bind, taking twice as many keybinds as needed, therefore a 'toggle' keybind is essential.
  12. Did you click the 'x' to get out of them? That could delete them
  13. The bug does make it very tricky. I ripped a skid off on a tree before getting to the target point, then repaired it at NATO HQ. Landing on the Argo was "interesting" - and I hope they have a spare rotor on board.
  14. I have missing textures in the English cockpit for the L-39 (C and Z). The Russian cockpit is fine. I am using a default skin (changing to a downloaded skin does not solve it). Uninstalling the L-39 and reinstalling it did not fix the issue. Has anyone seen this before, and does anyone know how to fix it? I have not seen it in any other aircraft.
  15. I'm getting the same error :/
  16. Same thing here, both in mission editor preview and trying the Harrier in persian gulf Dynamic campaign through DCE.
  17. I enjoy the campaign (not finished yet, but plan to), and find the missions to be lots of fun. The story makes sense (with a little bit of suspension of disbelief to make aan F-86 usable), and the opponents are challenging without being crazy. I'd say an editor or proofreader to go over the mission briefings would be well placed though - many misplaced apostrophes really stand out to me.
  18. Thank you, and sorry I missed the existing report! And happy new year, I look forward to finishing the campaign in 2019 :)
  19. I keep CTDing on this mission just after I get the radio message telling me what to attack. My computer is a bit on the low spec side (laptop, 8 gigs of ram, etc), so is it possible that my system is just struggling to keep up and crashing out? There is no dcs.crash file, and here is the dcs.log file:
  20. I just flew the mission, and the first time it all worked as intended, including the 'surprise'. I had to repeat it, and the second time the rescue helo sent the 'lifting off' message, but sat on the ground. Using the F-86 version, latest DCS 2.5
  21. This is a bit of an annoyance, that will have cost me a bit of money. You cannot buy campaigns unless you own the terrain needed to fly on them. Ok, that's fair enough. But you should be able to buy them at the same time - e.g. buy the Nevada terrain along with some of the campaigns that need Nevada. Any non-US customers likely face a small 'international transaction fee' on each purchase (a flat fee, not a % fee), so I just got hit twice by that fee, due to needing to buy the terrain as one purchase, then campaigns as a second purchase.
  22. Thanks, I'll probably stick with 1.5 for a while and finish my in-progress campaigns, then look at upgrade options.
  23. My laptop runs DCS 1.5 pretty well - good graphics settings, 60FPS, etc. However, I've heard that 2.5 is much more demanding, so I am wondering if I should stick with 1.5 and enjoy the campaigns I haven't finished, single player and so on, or upgrade to 2.5 Some stats from it: Processor: Intel® Core i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM Available OS Memory: 8146MB RAM Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce GTX 980M Display Memory: 8126 MB Dedicated Memory: 4053 MB Shared Memory: 4072 MB Will that run 2.5 at reasonable settings (say medium graphics quality, 30 or so FPS)? In case it matters, the screen res is 1920x1080, no VR or anything like that.
  24. Does anyone know what graphics setting controls the gun smoke? Currently whenever I fire the guns in the Sabre my FPS drops by a rather large amount. Naturally this makes actually hitting anything rather difficult, so I would like to change the smoke graphics to less detail. Does anyone know what options to play with for this?
