  1. Thank you very much, I Will try this when going home after work :-)
  2. Hi guys, a question about doppler navigation system control panel, on the copilot side: Do we have available keybinding to input range, heading, offside path and to switch sysrem on/off ? Will we have it in a future update ? Those keybindings would help a lot, we would be able to enter parameters without having to leave flight controls to take the mouse
  3. Credit card warmed up and ready to engage !!!
  4. So, release or not release ? That is THE question ;-)
  5. Oh, yeah, everyone is ready to press that "purchase" button
  6. Do you start your engines just after you started the APU or at least one minute later ?
  7. I4m definitely interested in that ! I watched the vid and it doesn't look complicated ti implement nor top secret, it looks to be just A10C mfds and a HUD put together on a panel-less screen
  8. Hello all, An idea I had after I read the 1st mission briefing of the Mi-8 campaign. Why not adding the option to have the F10 map with the default coordinate system, and an other one with the Area-Square-Snail system as described in the attached picture ? For sure it would help a LOT :smilewink:
  9. You can navigate in the Nevada by using the Mi-8 doppler radar navigation device. Enter a course, a range, and just stick to the course and watch for left/right deviation from your route. Go on youtube, you wil find plenty of videos which explain how to use the doppler navigation. It might be not so easy to understand first, when you'll get use to it, you will definitely love it
  10. I admit I'm confused as well by substracting the found result from the total fuel quantity on board. What does it mean ? If we calculate the needed fuel for a given range, we assume the tanks are empty and we want to know how much fuel to be poured in those tanks, no ? And for the "multiply the found result by 0,95 then again by 0,95", I would say divide the result by 0,95 , otherwise you Will have even less fuel than calculated before...
  11. Hi Hip pilots ! I noticed That pilot and copilot's lateral cockpit windows have some kind of "bulby shape" to alliw crew to have a better downside view. In a future update, would it be possible for track IR users to "extend" the view in that "bulb", allowing us to have a much more precise downside view ? I think that would greatly help and add even more realism :smilewink:
  12. Hi all ! Here is an other of my wishes for Christmas: ED please give to ships the same options vehicles have in the mission editor (condition red or green, ROEs, transmit message, set frequency etc etc...)
  13. My credit card is armed and ready to shoot.....
  14. For the third helicopter developpement, what about the AS330 Puma ? Would fit perfectly with the gazelle, it's still flying nowadays all around the globe in every climates, and I don't think there would a lot of be "defense security sensitive" systems...And of course, there is plenty of documentation available for this chopper
  15. Hi all ! I have the same kind of problem: When using heading AP, I turn, and when on the desired course, I trim the helo, I release the rudder pedals, yaw AP light comes back to on and AP maintains set heading. And sometimes, I turn, I apply rudder pedals to coordinate the turn, when on desired course I trim the helo, release the pedals, and then the pedals act as they were trimmed, and helo keeps yawing towards previously set heading. Did I miss something concerning the use of yaw autopilot ? I precise that the yaw trimmer is unchecked in my options
  16. Hi all, One thing that should be fixed: FARP take-off and landing direction. Normally, take-offs and landing should in be the direction of the T, not 90° appart of it, right :music_whistling:?
  17. Hi all, Here is my wishlist for Santa ED: a new object unit, a pilot ! A pilot who could be placed anywhere on the map and who could triggers actions etc, just like an infantry unit. It would surely add more immersion to SAR and CSAR missions. And it could be easy to do as the 3d model fr russian and US pilot are already existing
  18. Hi all, Here is a bug I noticed yesterday evening in DCS 1.5: The heat blur effect from the engines of the helicopter in front of me blurs the right scale on my HUD (see attached picture) Doesanyone noticed the same thing ?
  19. Hello Eagle Dynamics, When will the "helicopter keeps desperatly sliding on the flight deck" bug will ne fixed ?
  20. Hi all, First, thanks for the improvements on the Hip  I have a question concerning slin loads operations: I saw the presentation video, but when I try in DCS 1.5 or 2.0, I can hear the flight mechanic guiding me over the load, but I have no subtitle. How can it be activated ? And I can't find anywhere in the mission editor the various loads shown on the video, I just have the basic and "not that immersive" cubic load. Again, thanks for improving the module, I just hope to see one day or an other a more modern navigation system :smilewink: (ABRISS ? :music_whistling:)
  21. An other easter egg in attachment. Location: Rachel, Nevada :D
  22. Hi Fishbed pilots, A small message to report a bug I noticed in DCS 2.0: I have absolutely no control on the pitch axis, roll and yaw work perfectly.
  23. Thanks for your reply Pat :-) Good to know that, I can't wait for the magic "pre-purchase" (or "purchase" ;-) ) button to appear somewhere :-D
  24. As we don't have the possibility for multicrewed helicopters yet, will we have with the gazelle a sort of "cheat autohover" that would simulate the pilot maintaining hover flight when we fire and guide a Hot right on that poor tank we spotted in the disatnce ?
  25. Really nice website !
