Hello there, My wish for the future is having the possibility to rearm/refuel helicopters in the middle of nowhere instead of having to use the awful FARPS we have in DCS since...well I can't remember. Come on ED, you can do it
-
I think it's REALLY time for 3D mission editor, 15 years in the past IL2 had already a 3D objects placement function...

I fly the Mi-8 :thumbup::pilotfly:

As I approach the end of a leg from my flight plan, the GPS should indicate something like "turn to xxx in nn seconds" before the end of the leg, thus anticipating the turn to the next leg and the flight plan switching to next journey leg. I tried it with the Garmin NS-400 series simulator from Garmin, I entered my flightplan exactly the same as I did in DCS, and this anticipation/auto switch works (that's what we should see (lower right corner): ). An other thing, the terrain warning/danger zone doesn't updates on the NAV>Terrain page when I change my altitude and getting higher than the dangerous relief

Next waypoint auto-switch and turn predicate doesn't work

DCS: Garmin 430 15 Dollars for the Garmin 430 ? I guess in a near future I will be able to buy DCS:Fuel truck to be able to refuel during a mission ?

Was there any news/update concerning this GPS ? I'm really curious to know if it will be implemented and I'm really curious to know about WIP.

Hi there ! I wanted to program some system failures for my mi8 for training purpose in the mission editor Mi8 failures tab, I tick the box for a system, I want the failure to happen after 1 minute, I launch the mission and...Nothing happens. Did I forget something ? Is it a bug ?
-
Yes I saw those tables in the manual, I even did a small excel file to put in my kneeboard (see attached) I tried this morning, I start to place rockets in target area, but I must train harder to roughly evaluate target range :smilewink:
-
I have an english cockpit but rocket tables are drill un cyrillic ;-)
-
Hello, A question : how do you aim rockets properly ? I looked at the rocket table overhead, as far as I can understand (I have no clue what's written I can't read cyrillic) I have distances first column, speeds in the second, sight elevation in the third. But is There an indication for a launch altitude anywhere ? And how can you know how far you are from your target ? What are the other indications on the rocket table ?

I totally agree with the following principle: increasing the price for the harrier when it will be available, but releasing ship models for EVERYONE. And even if not all DCS community people will buy the harrier, Razbam will make a lot of monney anyway. So yes, increasing the harrier price instead of selling the ships in a separate "module" is OK for me

Please ED, fix that "helicopter slides off flight flight deck bug", with Normandy map sea effectst are really awesome and flying in stormy weather is also awesome, but it's a damn hell of frustration to not be able to ramp start the chopper because it slides and falls in water or collides with the ship superstructure

How much is the MI-8 helping?

When trimmed in level flight, I can leave flight controls and put my hands and feet elsewhere, no problem ! -
HH-60, yes, would be a great addon ! But for SH-60, I also agree that it won't be a so great addon regarding how naval warfare, and sea environnment is currently modelised. But, if one day sea environnment is modelised as it was in sonalyst's Dangerous Waters, yes, SH-60 will be a great addon and it would a first day purchase for me

Great job ! I just noticed an error on the first page, magnetic correction is -6 in Caucasus, not +6 :smilewink:

Eject on the ground, stick your pilot against a nearby A10 nose gear. The pilot will be stucked on the gear when A10 will taxi. When the gear retracts the pilot dies and stays in mid air
-
Exactly, I just tried in a solo mission, not online, no problem to do the fix !
-
I don't have the mission, I saw that when flying online yesterday. Same happened right now, online again
-
-
Affirmative !
-
It's a waypoint (B) not a target waypoint (M)
-
Set your trim to 5, and slightly pull the stick during take off roll to ease load on the nose gear. Your airplane will take off almost by itself !

Hello, I have a problem with doing a navigation radar fix: I go on T1, I put the radar cross on the place where my nav point should be, I validate with TV, I switch back to T0,but the navpoint doesn't move at all. Did anyone experienced the same ?

Do you really need NVGs to fly over Vegas by night ? :smilewink:
