I did a small test yesterday late evening after reaching home. Took the Eagle and went on AB at around 500 AGL ( I love flying low and very fast) and then pulled her straight into a climb where the lovely girl kept saying over G over G and I blanked out for 5-8 seconds and when I came around my altitude was FL200 wow in just 10-15 seconds she climbed up around 19,500 ft on a clean load out this is a strong thrust / weight ratio. BTW I have noticed some movements on the front of the wings are those Canards ? I am using a sound Mod for the eagle from lockon. It's a new sound mod.

Well this thread of mine went pretty long and the matter has been resolved Now we just need a clickable pit so I can study this aircraft . BTW I don't want to start a new thread just for this but I need to know what values are the best for the joystick curves and deadzone . currently I am using the deadzone and curves similar to the Mig21 3 - deadzone 25 - curvature the above is for all three axis.

Roger. I will make an offline one and post.

Firstly thanks for watching. Yes I did a very high degree climb. But the engine stall does happen even in a normal climb, but I am still learning the bird :). Can you check the second one ?
-
@grunf very close to what I wanted to know.
-
Thanks this should be good. I am ok with certain instruments in the 21. Yes using someone's reference points would be great.
-
Hi, I like to fly using reference points on the cockpit specially when banking or climb and level. I am going to sit now in the cockpit and want those points if anyone knows that. The problem is even trying to level her properly I find her either nose up or down. Thanks.

Hmm why would it ask for a M2000 I don't have that girl. I got a one more track a different let me try and post that. Virtual Aerobatics Test server v1.5.2u1b-20160120-132453.trk

Can anyone check my track file which i posted earlier. Of course only when one has the time :) Thanks.

Well guys let's stop this because the thread is going in a wrong direction. My question was based on LIFT WEIGHT DRAG THRUST principles because this is what I have learnt in my ground training which was years back. so I wanted to know why I was not getting any thing on the aircraft when my left landing gear was stuck. I expected weight to increase along with drag but a few members cleared up that for me as the weight has already been calculated and which is correct. It is the drag that should show the effect which was not the case , was informed that it is the CAS which kicked in hence I did not feel anything on the aircraft. Every aircraft has a ceiling after which they loose performance. There are too many variables that would matter and only REAL Eagle / Flanker pilots can tell you that.

THis one is not for the engine. ATC told me to climb to FL300 so I had a good clean climb to FL200 at around 200kts but suddenly nose started dropping back had no ailerons luckily I realized about the SAU mode and clicked and got the stick back. Great fun.

Hmmm hope this post does not go the wrong way or get locked.
-
Yep you were BTW is the F-15 an AFM or PFM ?
-
I am going for a flight now in the 21 on a VA free flight server and going to try the restart. Yes I think it is the negative or the 0 g as asked by Cobra.
-
Yes you are correct the weight is already there its nothing extra.

Here is the track file recorded today. Virtual Aerobatics Test server v1.5.2u1b-20160119-175200.trk
-
Yes the track file is a great idea guys. I still think it is the climb that is problem, post the track file in half hour. It will be auto start ( I do know how to manually start it and will on the MP server)
-
I doubt it , but I am going to try it when I get back home.
-
I will try that climb again when I reach home from work in a couple of hours today and see if it blows.
-
I follow the simple stuff to level out from a climb for the intended altitude 10% of the VVI (but these gauges are complicating :) ) and once I am leveled I let her touch her cruise speed and then reduce the thrust. But I haven't gone to the speeds of her as yet, a lot to read.
-
All the pumps are ON , I am not sure it happened during a Negative G. It mostly during a climb on AB.
-
Well it is only during the climb so yes that could be a reason because I am going up almost straight like a rocket :) , but before this even after the rotation when I was not high on the AOA it happened a few times and maybe even during a leveled flight when I pushed to AB Do you want me to test it again ? I can do that.
-
Hi, I am still going through the documentation for this awesome bird and I have kept "Random Failures ON". Not a good reader so I connect to a freeflight server in MP and try read the gauges like the IAS / Barometric / ADI. Haven't gone further than these instruments. This happens every time I takeoff on AB and after a 10-15 seconds of climb my engine shuts off so I crash land. Help. Thanks.
-
Hmm Well I thought drag does create more weight because of less thrust hence less lift. Actually I didn't watch the speed I just climbed up. But yes it could have been in those regions.

??? Do you mean the FBW system ? I thought the F15's don't have a FBW like the F16 and I actually don't like FBW :) hate it when I don't have control.
