Here are the attachments. The video is a 19 MB file. Once you view the video you will see the MP screen and the selected MP Server. There is a big blank screen and then followed by the DCS screens which one can skip , it is due to the local loading. Once inside the server see the ping on connect and then later the ping on aircraft selection. I have captured a video of my issue using OBS, will be uploading to dropbox later today. Hope someone can shed some light to this problem. It is with most of the servers that I noticed it.

Well, I tested the other servers and it is behaving in a similar way, so till an aircraft is not selected the ping remains high. Just don't know why it is happening

Hi Shahdoh, I will try the other servers like the VAT aerobatics / TFP and there is another new server don't remember the name but it starts with a "K" and watch what my ping rates are showing up only on server connect and does it drop without selecting an aircraft.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah its below the minimum specs and I have the settings to the lows. I get around 20-30 fps but usually to 25. I will check the 10308 port on the router and also the windows firewall. But IMO this some other kinda issue where once I select the aircraft the ping is going down.

Hi, I have been using the VA server for online flights but since the last update my ping to the server has gone terribly high. The ping remains at around 500-600 and goes high till 900. Now the funny part is if I select an aircraft the ping drops down like a rock. But till I don't select an aircraft then the server has some issues and I think users have a warp or a lag kinda thing. The other issues which I have noted is DCS stops responding. I have noticed this only during online sessions as I do not fly offline. The following are my system and net details : ISP bandwidth rate 700 KBPS. Currently using a laptop which is of the following config : Toshiba Satellite L755 i5 2430m 1 GB Nvidia GT525m 8 GB DDR3. DCS 1.5.3 Will appreciate any advice / fix for the above problem. Rgds.

I also get the weather.dll crash when I switch servers and I am able to connect and fly but the moment I change to F2 CTD , so the problem are both during server change and during the F2. It is very frustrating that nothing has been done about it or I am missing something.

I agree with JCOMM about not looking at the turn indicator. I am not a real pilot but a simmer since many many years and I have never looked at that ball but outside during take off especially when VFR. else the above method seems correct and she will lift off but I go to ata 1.3 and after a few seconds go to ata 1.5

I am using Mustangs script and it's pretty nice, BTW I can't see other MP aircraft in the distance and sometimes even close ones tend to disappear and reappear. Is there anything that can be done without using the 1.5.3 lua files ? Would greatly appreciate all info / help.

TAS is 2% higher every 1000 ft IIRC. Ya she feels great to fly now .

How the heck do you guys even understand that table. I think I do the turn @80-85 AOB @350 kns under 30 AOA under a clean config i think so. But I can check , I love flying this girl low and fast and do these amazing turns

No issues to me after update , at least nothing yet. The aileron switch works OK now.

Well I am on a second generation laptop and before the update I had good performance on medium settings with the Mig21 and after the update it went down to 10-12 , what I noticed is the visibility that has messed up my performance so I went and removed all the buildings and I good performance again. Hope something can be done. I am not expecting anything more because I am on a laptop but it would be great to have the earlier performance.

I went and updated to 1.5.3 from work as my home internet is very slow , did get an activation window but I did not activate. Now when the patch is public I will try it.

It seems to be solved , it was an error DCS axis as it was assigning two throttle axis

Hi Cobra , No i am not flying her at 0g , because it was happening during take off and the engine was not shutting down it was just going to idle and I could see the throttle going to idle :) and I had to keep adjusting the throttle, well it turned out to be a very stupid issue in DCS axis settings there were two throttles being assigned so I made the changes and don't know why there were two throttles. The funny part was it was not happening every time I flew her. I will check tonight if the issue persists.

I am still losing engine RPM and the weird thing I notice is only during pitch control this is so funny, I don't think I am doing anything wrong with the Mig.

I have this problem only in the Mig21, just before rotate the engine RPM will go down also have noticed it during some flights. My throttle everything is fine and I have Random Failures to ON. Please note this problem is only in the Mig21. A member "Grunf" in my thread "Engine Performance" tried to help but nothing worked and this RPM issue is random. Need more info let me know. Thanks.
