A new part is on the way, the Front extension and hinges are in place on the left side. Because I have been busy with panel building it goes very slowly forward, but it goes foreward anyway :) This think is gonna be BIG!!!:joystick:

Here is a less funny update. The material is out of stock so it will take about 3 weeks until it comes home. I can get the same material overseas but shipping is too expensive unfortunately. Hope you understand /David

Yes you will need a card that can handle encoders the BU0836X is a good one for that

Yes it will be buttons incl, if i will do a low cost cdu the buttons will be straight, like the + - DIM BRT.

Thanks guys!! As for the CDU, im trying to make a low cost cdu that most can afford. But it is difficult to balance low cost and good quality. For this prototype i will not use a pcb, i will use the backplate to mount the switches. Then the buttons will have holes to fit the switches and it will fit an 4inch lcd. I will keep working on it and hopefully there will be a cheap but good CDU in the near future.
