  1. Hi Goa, have you tried setting ”maximum preferred frames” to 1 in NVCP? I have also GSYNC enabled (full screen only) and VSYNC set to application controlled in NVCP. VSYNC is disabled in game settings. With these my TrackIR works without stuttering. If ”maximum preferred frames” is set to default or anything other than 1, TrackIR is not smooth on my comp.
  2. Hi, did you check the video link I posted here? With your comp specs, you shouldn't have to worry about fps in DCS. For me, fps was never really the biggest problem. On my system, DCS defaulted to run on only one physical core (exactly like in YouTube-clip), choking it out in the process. That alone caused various problems with the game like crashing it before reaching main menu, crashing it almost always after existing mission, general stuttering, sounds chopping in and out while flying and jerky TrackIR. I never figured out why DCS.exe was defaulting to only one physical core on my i7-6850K. I'm just happy that I found the fix.
  3. Glad to help! With PL you can also tweak some other stuff to DCS.exe (for example their highest Performance mode, IO-priority etc). Haven't really digged deep in the matter, but some of the settings seemed like a no-brainer.
  4. I tried several CPU combinations and for my setup the best is -> only physical processors 0,2,4,6,8,10.
  5. You might also want to check your processor affinity. I had a strange stutter problem too with my new setup. For some reason DCS used only one physical core (out of 6) and this was on clean 2.1 install. Then I found this from Youtube and my problem was solved. Now I use Process Lasso to set cpu affinity automatically.
  6. This is legit, downloading now. Thank you ED!
  7. DCS 2.5 change log is now online. Does this mean, we are going live today? :) Pretty please!
  8. This works best for me. No jaggies and performance is very good. In game: AF: 16X MSAA 2X Nvidia control panel: AF: application controlled AA: application controlled MFAA: enabled + SMAA enabled with Reshade (depth edge detection).
  9. Taxi Takeoff
  10. Hold your horses for one more week.
  11. OK, thank you so much for the heads up! I am having great fun with M-2000 and just crying for more content for these long days before 2.5 arrives. :joystick:
  12. Hi Any news on training missions for NTTR? I bought M2K during the holiday sales and would really appreciate if we had these (even beta versions) available. I currently have only DSC 2.2 installed on my computer. Thanks!
  13. Thanks for the info c0ff!
  14. Any news when 1.5.6 (openbeta) update will be available to Steam users?
  15. That is because the developer did not participate to Steam sale with F-5 module. You know, Valve (Steam) take a percentage of every game sold through Steam and that cuts the developers profit. The exact numbers are not available for the public, but could be 20-30 % (source: internet).
  16. No m8, it is more like basic marketing strategy. When you have a high demand product and business is blooming, there is little need to sell stuff at a reduced price.
  17. I'll give you a few reasons, why Steam is my favourite platform for games (not necessarily related to DCS) - lightning fast download speeds - automatic patches - steam workshop - holiday sales - steam wallet/gift cards But DCS-wise it is a win-win in almost all cases..
  18. Fixed.. Update 3 released to Steam users. Maybe somebody forgot to "push the button" last week,
  19. Hi, is there any news about the 1.5.5 Update 2 to Steam users? Correction.. Update 3
  20. Has anyone got the latest update (1.5.5.59992 Update 2) to Steam yet? It has been nearly a week it was released and mine is still stuck to DCS 1.5.5.59744 Update 1. I'm running an openbeta version if it matters..
