100% this! They need to stop this freebie DCS World nonsense right now or at least have a plan for DSC 3.0 or whatever to "start over". Go crowd funded, monthly fee or annual fee based business model or this game will NEVER have a chance to grow to something it deserves.

It really isn't that hard of a puzzle to figure out what is going on atm.. They don't have dedicated Hornet, Viper or Carried module coders on their payroll. For a company like ED, it would be insane business wise if they did. I bet their coders are pushing hard on Viper to meet the promised early autumn release and there just isn't enough resources to do so for Hornet. Which module do you think is bringing more cash in at the moment? This is the question I would ask, if I were the one investing money on ED or any other company.

This is definitely reproducable. Load up the mini-campaign misson ”Fighter Sweep”. Activate Datalink and fly towards waypoint 2. Not only there is some sort of memory leak or fps issue going on with the Hornet, because my fps drops from 70 to 40 half way to WP2, but it also drops 20-25 fps more right after I open the SA page. Switch back to some other page and gain those fps back. Click SA again and lose it again and so on..

Ok, so the problem is that I can't get DCS to run in true full screen mode anymore. This wasn't an issue for a long time, but now after entering the cockpit the game runs in borderless windowed mode no matter what. Pressing Alt + Enter won't fix this anymore like it previously used to. I'm running the latest DCS openbeta, Nvidia driver ver. 431.60 and Windows 10 Pro (1903).

Using this in your autoexec.cfg is a terrible idea and has nothing to do with the font color..

Yes, the info IS in the wrong place. Check the thread title. Considering how strict ED themselves are about being on topic in threads, I think I have fair point. I just can't get it how much an impossible mission it is to post an official statement (in the right place) that "Yea sorry guys, it seems there will be at least a delay in today's patch release. Will share more info as soon as we have it."

I think you misunderstood my point, sir. You and Wags are considered the official voice of ED. Little news, big news, plan or no plan.. this is not the right place to share any bit of information regarding the obvious patch delay.

What I don't understand is that why is the official information for scheduled and eagerly awaited patch is passed on in a thread that is located in a chit-chat forum section. I wish ED's marketing people would copy some good practices from other game developers or take a few courses on the matter of customer service.

This is a real bummer if nothing got fixed/added. Especially, if the next OB update is planned to two weeks from now.. :(

It took ED over a year to fix F10 map icon problem, so yeah, it may be a long wait ahead.

Finally figured out how to fix this problem. How many of you guys have connected the trackir+track clip pro to same USB-port (with the included USB extension adapter)? After I disconnected the trackir camera from track clip pro USB-adapter and connected it to another USB port the problem has been since solved. So the solution is rather simple (at least for me) - use 2 USB ports instead of 1. What I don't understand, why is this a problem with DCS and not with any other games I play with trackir..
