I'd like to see a 'plywood and barge' damage model just to see the GAU chew it up,,,and a few Iranian Navy Chris-Craft 'destroyers'.

United States, West Coast on a 1Gb connection and my DL speed sits at 1.7MB. I've been downloading Beta and my modules for more than 12 hours now. This is getting pathetic. Ticket submitted, just venting.

FC3 module broken All my modules work except the FC3 planes are asking for reg numbers I've put in the numbers to bind, but MiG-29 reg never pops up and, upon restart, I have to go through the entire dance again. :mad:

Sounds like a possible full scale competitor for another popular combat title that also uses the module schema (I won't say the name....you know why) The fan base for 'The Other Popular Title' have also been speculating on full vr support, but it seems well behind the curve at this point.

After falling in love with the AJS-37 Viggen, I'd love to get my butt in the seat of the JAS-39 Gripen. As for WW2 era warbirds, a nod to the Pacific theater with the Vought F4U Corsair would be a blast.

You should be OK as long as you were able to run the same pixel resolution on your 24". Choose your aspect ratio in the options. If you decide to go with a multiple monitor setup; graphics memory is critical to retain a playable frame rate I have a triple monitor setup at 3382 X 1900 and my older NVidia 550s with 1 gig in SLI couldn't keep up when I upgraded to FC3. NVidia 770s @ 2 gigs each and SLI handle the extended resolution perfectly.

Jet wash and wake turbulence. Would make in-flight refueling, escorts, formation flying and close-in dog fighting much more interesting.

I realize it's a lot of work but, after my experience with FC2 and multiple graphics driver updates glitching the interface; I've found it advantageous to make an image of a clean OS install and "reinstall" once things start glitching. Being this system is dedicated to only a few 'games' and all the important work is done on a separate system, this isn't an issue for me.

The flight physics in FC3 both P51 and F15 trounces FSX physics hands down. I got a little cocky jumping into the P51 in FC3 after many hours in FSX and got my rear handed to me by the bucking little 'stang. 2 completely different animals.
